Hello, I am looking to do some general shooting drills and specifically some long range shooting. I cannot find any ranges near me that would accommodate my desires, at least not without a costly yearly membership. I am looking to shoot out to 600-700 yards. I would be willing to pay for my time in/use of your field. Ideally, what I am looking for is a farm that is ok with me shooting for 2-3 hours some Saturday after deer season ends. I would bring all my own stuff, clean up my mess, provide my own targets, etc. All I need is a safe shooting direction, the necessary distance and that is it. I would want to meet the land owner day of to verify backstop/safe shooting area and my father may join me depending on the day. I am located in Portland TN and I would prefer to be within 1 hour of Portland. Willing to go further but that is my ideal. If this sounds like something you are interested in please let me know. My father and I are both TNGO members, HCP/ID can be provided day of if desired.

A- This is a very good price on a M4. Thats without the adjustable stock. Crazy good deal. If you are thinking about getting a 12 gauge seriously consider this one. The biggest selling point for me was someone interviewed a couple of the gunsmiths at Battlefield Vegas and they said: "... before we got the Benelli M4 we did not know much about it. However we heard that marine armorers claim its the most reliable system in their inventory. While we cannot speak for the marines, we can absolutely attest that it is the single most reliable weapon here at Battlefield Vegas beating out AKs, ARs, etc with its durability and longevity..." B- I spoke with a friend who has one and has for several years. He said he has never cleaned it and trusts it with his life. I purchased and while it is easily my most expensive firearm it is the one I trust the most and would be most hesitant to sell. a very good deal. Do yourself a favor and if you are considering it, do it. Seriously that stock alone is worth $400 easy.....

Im thinking about getting into saddle hunting and would appreciate any feed back or tips on brands, techniques, and whatnot. Additionally this will be my first season bow hunting. I have all the kit I think I need but any tips/pointers there would be appreciated.

If the Garand is finicky about the ammo why not get the M1A instead? Just the pure nostalgia? I mean don't get me wrong. I am a history nerd. But I do not have the funds for safe queens. any gun I purchased is used (hunting, training, home defense, etc) or sold.

I used to have a little lever 30-30 and I kinda regret selling it. Only thing is I'd hate to get another caliber and go through the expense of stockpiling another 1,000+ rounds of that.

Good evening, I find myself in a rare quandary and I am hoping you enlightened folks on here may be able to provide some advice. I have a gentlemens agreement with my mrs where gun money stays gun money but I cannot pull funds from the family bank account to purchase more guns. I have recently parted way with a few that I was either A- bored with or B-didn't feel comfortable carrying/ hadn't taken to the range in a while. I actually have found myself with money in my pocket but no real burning desire on what to invest in next. I was hoping for some recommendations from you enlightened folks. I would like to keep to already established calibers just for ammo and simplicity sake. Those are- 9mm, 45ACP, 300BO, .223/5.56, 308 Win, and 12 gauge. I only have 1 of each of the rifle calibers so I was thinking that direction but I'm surprisingly "meh" on yet another another AR. The Springfield M1A is interesting as is a Galil Ace but I wanted to see if y'all had any recommendations before I just "meh"d into something. Budget is roughly $1,300 and yes I do have some fun DeadAir products so I already have that train of thought covered.
