  1. I've owned a few 10mm's within the last few year although I haven't shot them much because of the recent prices on target ammo. I had the Glock 29 and put a few hundred rounds through it but the recoil is the only reason I sold it. I like recoil but I knew I'd never carry it because of that reason, then again I had friends who aren't affected by the recoil coming out of the shorter barrel. Something that I've heard often is that the 10mm round breaks down frames a lot faster than other calibers. But I've only heard this and never seen it for myself.

  4. Well you're lucky cause I'm moving back down there next month.
  5. I'd be lying if I said I didn't just spend 30 minutes googling Mosin Nagant memes. Idk if I even wanna get rid of the damn thing anymore .
  6. We just got so many damn small owned gun shops in East Tennessee . Everything in middle Tennessee is huge franchises where you can't find the nice aged guns. I'm from Nashville and I've only bought two guns down there.
  7. SOLD
  8. As an infantryman I've never been a fan of the idea that knew body armor used by our adversaries warrants a new more powerful caliber than the 5.56NATO. Since the time it arrived it's proven on the battlefield especially in the 21st century where it's done it's actually job in suppressing the enemy which is all it's really asked to do so that those artillery and aviation guys and gals that I love so much can blow the enemy straight to hell. Oh yea and I never heard the enemy celebrate getting hit by one either. Just my little spill on it but none the less I love shooting and I love weapons so I'll be excited when I get my hands on a XM5 and see what it's really about.
  9. I bought the gun as is from a gun shop in East Tennessee so as for original parts I'm sure they're long gone. As for the specs it's a 29inch barrel, probably weighs around 7-8lbs. I'll be honest and say this wasn't a gun I spent much time with. I bought for fun out of boredom and it'll shoot a 3inch group at 100 yards if you have good eyes. I was never a Mosin guy but I know there are plenty out there.

  11. Would anyone have a clue on the going rate on a CZ 550 30-06 in great condition? I know the rifle was discontinued in 2019 and the only 550's I can find on gun broker are in all types of calibers that I know nothing about (375H&H, 338 Lapua Magnum, 7mm Rem Mag, etc.) these are going for way above $1200 on bids. So how much would mine go for with the original scope rings? Got it in a multiple gun trade but not really willing to spend the money on a scope that this rifle deserves. Currently don't have a picture as the rifle is back home in Nashville. Posted earlier in the wrong forum.
  12. I carry the 43x MOS with the Shield Arms mag and mag release. No optic tho as I trust plain sights. It's a great 9mm in my opinion. I wear a lot of sweatpants/shorts so the light weight doesn't sag my pants like my Glock 45 does which I usually carry with jeans on. And as a 6ft guy with big hands the 43x fits perfectly in my hand way better than the regular 43 which I got rid of a month after buying. Definitely recommend upgrading to the Shield 15 round mag. 10 rounds in a double stack 9mm is pointless.
  13. I love my .45acp 1911s but let me tell you about my Sig in 357sig, talk about a devastating psycho round. But I think I'll stick to carrying my Glock 43x with the 15 round mag. If that can't do the job then I hope the infantry god welcomes me.
