  1.      For what it's worth, that's a common misconception.  There is unfortunately no return policy or "cooling off period" in the state of TN.  I have heard that some states offer such protection, but I can say with a fair bit of certainty that TN does not.  Once you put ink to paper, its yours.  The only exception would be if the dealership has their own individual return policy or grace period.  Otherwise, they aren't obligated to do squat for you other than what your buyers agreement states.
  2. Hey man, I wasn't sure if you've been there yet or not but the guys at http://www.tnairsoft.com are based in Memphis and set up games pretty regularly. I haven't been active in a while but I'm in the Memphis area and used to play all the time. It's a lot of fun.
  3. I have the Tapco T6, and although it isn't exactly what you're looking for, for what its worth its a great quality stock. I love it.

    3" 1911

Thanks for all of the info guys, I really appreciate it. I will take everything into consideration and let you all know what I end up purchasing. I'm not totally opposed to a 4" model, I just wasn't sure how inconvenient it would be to carry on my small frame.

    3" 1911

Guys (and gals), I'm in the market for a nice 1911, and for the sake of comfort while carrying concealed, I have considered picking up one of the Kimber Ultra Carry II 3" 1911's. I was wondering if any of you have any experience with these particular pistols or 3" 1911's in general. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, as I am rather uneducated on the matter. I have fired many 4" 1911's, which I love, but never a 3". I know the first consideration is the fact that its a small weapon firing a .45 caliber round, so the recoil is going to be a little worse, but I have never had a problem in the past as far as accuracy or comfort with the Glock 30's that I've fired at the range. This will be a daily carry gun, so I'm really just looking for something that is comfortable to wear but still reliable and something I'm accurate with. I'm a pretty small guy, so the larger guns aren't as easy for me to wear or conceal. I'm about 5'9 and 160 lbs. I had heard rumors that the 3" models weren't quite as reliable as the 4" or 5", but I don't know how true that may be. I hope some of you can help me out. Thanks, Brandon
  6. Hey everyone. My name is Brandon and I figured that I've lurked around here long enough and I might as well introduce myself. I've been a lifelong firearms enthusiast, and HCP holder for several years. (I'm only 27) I enjoy taking the advanced "Street Survival School" courses at RangeUSA here in Memphis and I aspire to travel to Nashville at some point this year and work on NRA instructor certification. I really enjoy teaching newcomers the fundamentals of firearms safety and just educating anyone in general who is curious to learn about firearms. Eh, well enough rambling. I look forward to learning from you guys and maybe even swapping some toys!
