  1. Damn, I'd have bought this already if I lived a little closer
  2. Nice to see that someone else likes smooth wood grips on their guns. I do that to all my shooters.
  3. Just picked up a P365 myself, but still need to put at least 3-400 hundred rounds thru it before I carry it. So still carrying my Kahr PM9. About the same size but a single stack. I swear by Crossbreed Minituck horsehide IWB holsters. Usually at about 4-5 o'clock. I used to drive from CT to FLA wearing it, I almost forget its there its so comfortable. The horsehide is noticeably thinner than cowhide, and more sweat resistant. Tried an Alien Gear Cloak Tuck, and liked it except for putting it on. With the Crossbreed I just have to loosen my belt. With the Alien Gear, because its cloth-backed, you just about have to drop your drawers to get it on-lol. I also use a Kore belt with the ratchet buckle, cant say enough good things about it. Its micro-adjustable.

    Carry History

OK I'll play. I'm a firm believer in always having a gun on me, so that usually means something small and light and unobtrusive. A small 9 , snubby 38 or a 380. Any of those on me is better that a 45 left at home. Over the years, Smith 37 nickel- Colt Mustang Pocketlite 380- Keltec 380- Kahr P380- Kahr PM9. I just bought a P365 but havent shot it enough yet to carry it.
  5. I have a Suzuki DRZ 400 as my dual sport. Its a 2013 and I found it locally 2 years ago for only $3500 with 1600 miles. I wouldnt want anything smaller if you are going to do any road riding. Even mine is screaming over 60 or so, though I did go 1 tooth smaller in the front and I'm running full DOT knobbies. It gets over 50mpg on the road, and probably around 40 in the trails. But, its fantastic in the woods. I dont ride fast on trails, mostly just exploring. I havent found anywhere it cant go yet. Thats taking into account my intermediate skills also-lol. And since I often ride alone, I try not to get into a situation I cant get out of myself. I believe the KLX and DRZ is the same bike in similar sizes. I know the old KLX400 was the same as mine. Not sure about the smaller models. Hondas are great also, but getting pricey. Recently rode with a guy on a Honda CRF450 steet legal model. Nice bike, 6 speed with FI, but not 3 times as nice as mine-lol.
  6. I just found this site last week. Kinda liking it so far. Been living in Telford about 3 yrs, came from Commie Connecticut-lol. Tom B
