  5. Same thing happened to me a few years back at a casino. But the guy wouldnt let me in with it. So I walked around looking for a good place to hide it for a few hours. After the show I went back and it was gone. I'Il bet that security guy watched where I went-lol. Got himself a free knife.
  6. As much as I love my 1911's and Sigs and CZ hammer guns, for carry I use several Kahrs. Striker fired, and each trigger pull is the same DA but super smooth pull P380 in summer, PM9 when I have more clothes on-lol. Recently bought a Sig P365 (with safety) to carry and I'm just starting to transfer over to that. I'm figuring the extra rounds cant hurt. Its the same size as the PM9, and uses the same Crossbreed IWB holster.
  7. Yea, the only time I open carry is when out hiking, or doing trail work.
  8. Its only going to get worse as more and more people rely on their car to drive itself.
  9. I have a buddy in CT that bought a similar electric dirt bike, its a Surron. He has had it over a year now and absolutely loves it. And the fact that he also rides a Beta X-Trainer tells me the electric bike must really get the job done.
  10. I'll play-lol. While I dont use that Enigma, I have been using Crossbreed Mini-tuck holsters for over 10 years since I made the decision to carry all the time. When I carry my Kahr P380 I have it adjusted to where the grip is barely higher than my belt. Even in shorts and a T-shirt no one can tell I'm carrying. It also has a feature where you can still tuck in a shirt, I have even worn the gun at weddings. In cooler weather I can carry something bigger, usually a Kahr PM9 or Sig P365. But I'd rather have the 380 than nothing at all.
  11. When I bought my Champion safe, I had stopped at Rural King to check out their safes first. My Champion is a 48 gun I think. Rural King had a 60 gun that was quite a bit bigger for the same price. I mentioned it to the Champion guy, and he showed me an ad for the Rural King safe. That 60 gun safe weighed less than the Champion 48. He said they use cheap Chinese steel.
  12. Several on Armslist in Knoxville
  13. You can still find them on ebay
  14. I carry an SOG Bladelight Mini. Its 3 oz and I forget its there. The best part is that it has a 4-LED flashlight built in. I use the light as much as I use the blade.
  15. I got a great deal on a Champion safe at a place in E. Knoxville a few years ago. Champion Safe Outlet, or something like that. They were basically half price.
  16. That is indeed a 715-V4. V for vent rib. 4 for 4" barrel. They also made a 715 without the rib, and a 715-VH which had the rib and a heavy barrel. So, that fatter part where it says 'Dan Wesson' extends to the end of the barrel. I had a 715 VH6 for many years, should have kept it.

    CZ 75

As much as I love my nickel Browning Hi-Power and my CZ75, my Canik SFX is the most accurate gun I have. Never expected that.
  18. I hear ya. Those dang hair dryers and make up bags take up too much room.
  19. And unless I missed something about a passenger, I always use a big backpack tied right behind me on the passenger seat to hold more stuff. Most of my long trips I have taken alone, so I had plenty of room for anything I wanted to bring.
  20. Well, I have taken trips on my Ultra with a large tank bag on top of the tourpack, it looked similar. Didnt notice much of a difference. Make sure you load up that front bag with lots of weight to counteract the rear-LOL.
  21. Doesnt the threaded barrel stick out past the frame?

    Canik

I owned a Glock for 1 day. Got a 26 in a trade, shot it in the backyard and hated it. It shot OK but I cant get by the looks-lol. Traded it the next day for a TP9SFX. One of the most accurate guns I have ever shot.
