That Galco looks like a nice holster, but damn its pricey. I use one thats Cordura and velcro. Maybe $40, fits many different guns and is quite comfortable to wear. I like to use it when on my motorcycle.

I always buy the Crossbreed horsehide, since its a lot thinner than the cowhide. How does the T-Rex compare in thickness? Well kind of a moo point since they dont make anything for a Kahr. Bummer
-
Nice. I'm wondering how it compares to the Crossbreed Minituck? Other than trying an Alien Gear IWB a few times (which I liked), the Crossbreed is the only holster Ive ever used with my Kahr P380 and PM9. Ive driven to FLA wearing it, I hardly know its on.

This. But look at the sold auctions, not the current ones. Some sellers are delusional-lol.

Maybe a used 20 ga coach gun? Nothing to jam or go wrong.

Went to a Little Feat concert yesterday over in NC. Wore my "What a long strange trip its been' T-shirt. People kept coming up to me and asking if I had heard about Phil. I hadnt. Bummer.

I did this once in the first house I ever bought. I cant remember why I was in the attic, but my foot went thru the sheetrock. Luckily, that room had a suspended ceiling also, so just had to replace a couple tiles.

This is how liberal states operate. They rape the folks that work and have money. Especially the middle class, since a $450 registration isnt a big deal to a rich guy. Then they give it to the folks that dont work, kind of a payment to them to vote democrat.

sale-or-trade CZ75 9mm Compact Sale or Trade Nashville Area
Tom B replied to Ruprect2's topic in Firearms Classifieds
I have a 75 D Compact that has a rail like the P01. But no NATO markings like the P01 has. CZ is known for using whatever parts they have to make up different models. I hear they made a P01 all steel with a safety, but thats a unicorn and they go for over a grand on GB. I love all of their metal guns. -
I had a PD when they first came out. I like it so much I had it customized with a commander hammer (gunsmith had to make one), polished feed ramp and had the ejection port relieved. Really wish I still had that one.

Wondering if the Feds will come check out whats going here, maybe declare it an emergency area?

For any bikers out there, the Bobarosa in Del Rio is gone. Not surprising I guess being directly on the French Broad river.

The town of Erwin TN got hit hard. The hospital there asked for folks in boats to help evacuate, and the water rose so fast they had to put people on the roof and get helicoptered out. I believe part of I-26 got washed away there also. In addition to all the houses damaged.

Growing up in CT, we would walk out in the woods behind our house and shoot 22's. Never a big deal. One of my favorite stories about liberals- There was a gun club in a small town that was there since the 1930's. Pretty low key, mostly did trap and skeet shooting Sunday mornings. In the 1980's some couple from NY bought property close to it and build a huge house (it was their weekend house). Apparently the realtor forgot to mention the gun club-lol. Anyway, they sued the gun club and tried to get it closed down. In the end they lost, but the club spent a lot of money on a lawyer. Another club, the oldest in CT I believe, had a guy claim he found a bullet on his property about a mile away. He showed it to them, the bullet was still in the case-lol. But they still found a lawyer to sue them .There was a lawsuit, and the club had to put these blinder things on each rifle lane. So if shooting a rifle from the bench, there is a wall several inches above the barrel so as not to shoot too high. I hear it gets in the way of big scopes. Ive mentioned before, so glad to get out of that ****hole state You dont even want to know whats involved in doing a gun sale or trade there.

About 25 years ago my boss's kid was in high school. The teacher asked the class about their hobbies. He's a target shooter so he answered 'shooting'. She seemed confused, and asked what he meant. He made a finger gun and said "you know, shooting. Bang Bang.' Well, she went to the principal and said something to the effect that she felt threatened, and he got suspended. It cost my boss quite a bit in lawyer fees to get it all straightened out.
-
Well, just saying you sold it legally, or actually having some paperwork to back it up, could make a difference in how much they want to talk to you-lol.

Last year when doing a trade with a guy, he told me a story about a call he got from the police involving a gun that he had owned. It had been used in a crime. Luckily he had a BOS to prove he didnt own it anymore.
-
If I sell a gun that I bought new, or has a paper trail to me, I get a BOS. Just protecting me I figure. For something I bought without one, I dont ask for one. Lately I havent been selling, just buying guns that I want to keep. I wouldnt have a problem with a BOS if the seller wanted one though.

After reading stuff like this, I'm seriously considering carrying my AR in the car now. Currently I only have my EDC pistol with me in my vehicles.
-
Now thats some funny stuff right there. Is that the original assault rifle?
-
For the house, I like my 12 ga coach gun. Open choke, and short barrels. If you are trying to walk around the house in the dark, the short barrel doesnt keep hitting walls and doors.

There is one for sale a few ads down (or up)
-
LOL. and I just saw an ad for a Tactical flashlight
-
So am I missing something, or does 'tactical' just mean 'de-cocker'? I kinda thought tactical meant a gun usually with a de-cocker, but also a threaded barrel and maybe suppressor height sights? Now I see ads for a 'tactical' model, and its a normal model with de-cocker instead of a safety.

wanted Looking for SP-01, P-01, and Beretta 92s
Tom B replied to Skyyr's topic in Firearms Classifieds
Good luck finding a P-01 with a manual safety, unless you want an Omega. The few I've seen are going for big dollars.
