  1. no kidding, what the heck is wrong with us. at least you "almost" bought.. lol
  2. ^^^what he said. The only tracking in TN is when you buy from a licensed dealer. The forms you fill out must be kept on file. Otherwise there is no way to track a gun once it hits the consumer's hands in TN.. Unless the seller requires a firearms transaction form to be filled out buy the buyer, but that is only for the sellers records and isn't required.
  3. Hey.. I'm not knockin the vehicle.. I just have a hard time calling 30k a bargain. I stole my harley at just under 20k but I would never call that a bargain either.. lol more like the fleecing of america..
  4. $30k a value? come-on. paying 30k for a vehicle no matter what options it has is anything but a value. I don't care who makes it.
  5. This is on my list. I just can't decide if I want the 9mm or .40.. maybe both.. lol
  6. General sessions court clerk Start here.. Davidson County Circuit Court Clerk Fee's are nominal and worth it IF you are interested in recovering any moneys owed. Sometime it's worth your time and effort, sometimes not. but one thing for sure.. doing nothing gets you the same..

  8. I am told by my ups guy 85% of the service in the state of TN is ground. Even if you choose next day air, the package still goes ground. Same trucks, drivers, routes, as every other package leaving the same facility. So from my location.. I can hit 90% of the state in one business day UPS ground. Regardless of how things are shipped. I will not ship a gun to anyone I don't feel comfortable with. I also never ship out of state (personally) My FFL ships at a vary reasonable price via US postal service. One thing that boils my blood is buying a gun out of state from another dealer and having them tell me that it must ship next day air. They want to charge you $30+ for shipping and in most cases.. it arrives at your FFL via USPS priority. I refuse to deal with those people...
  9. Exactly. Really the only requirement or so it reads is that you are suppose to notify the shipper of the firearm. I guess what burns me about UPS and FedEx is they typically don't even know their own policy. If they don't know the policy, why the hell should I follow it. Not so fast.... Here's the QA from the BATF website. "Q: May a nonlicensee ship a firearm through the U.S. Postal Service? A nonlicensee may not transfer a firearm to a non-licensed resident of another State. A nonlicensee may mail a shotgun or rifle to a resident of his or her own State or to a licensee in any State. The Postal Service recommends that long guns be sent by registered mail and that no marking of any kind which would indicate the nature of the contents be placed on the outside of any parcel containing firearms. Handguns are not mailable. A common or contract carrier must be used to ship a handgun. [18 U.S.C. 1715, 922(a)(3), 922(a)(5) and 922 (a)(2)(A)] Q: May a nonlicensee ship a firearm by common or contract carrier? A nonlicensee may ship a firearm by a common or contract carrier to a resident of his or her own State or to a licensee in any State. A common or contract carrier must be used to ship a handgun. In addition, Federal law requires that the carrier be notified that the shipment contains a firearm and prohibits common or contract carriers from requiring or causing any label to be placed on any package indicating that it contains a firearm. [18 U.S.C. 922(a)(2)(A), 922(a) (3), 922(a)(5) and 922(e), 27 CFR 478.31 and 478.30] " So in reality you would be in violation of federal law using the don't ask don't tell rule. However, UPS only requires verbal notification. I suppose one could say "I told you" if the gun was ever found, lost, or dammaged during shipment.

My brother works with a bunch of mexicans.. I guess in mexico they don't flush the paper. they toss it in a hole next to the pot. since there's no hole here.. it goes on the floor.

If he was like a guy I use to work with.. I don't blame her. That SOB would linger the whole day long. The term my eyes are burning was a total understatement. We were always like DUDE, WTF do you eat?

I guess this is what trains most of us to poop from home. In school they had no stalls.. So if ya had to go.. you were wide ass open to all who walked in.. sittin there, grinnin, trying not to make a sound.. let alone smell.. lol... plop, flush, plop, flush.. hahha
  13. huh? I sold you what? I did no such thing!
  14. OS is 100% correct. No ammo or hasmat (primers, powder, etc) may be shipped through USPS. Doesn't matter if you are a dealer or not on this one... The only thing you can ship through USPS is brass and lead. Everything else must be shipped UPS/FedEx.
  15. You sound like a great Dad.
  16. Thanks for the heads up. I always look for codes when mail ordering. you'll be supprised how much you can save just by looking for 5 minutes. I think we should sticky a topic like this when valid codes are found.

Girls are funny. If we guys acted like they do people would sware we were fruity. Living with 4 females the past 20 years really puts things into perspective. Girls will do just about everything in front of one another.. ie, pee'ing while another is showering or putting on make up.. We guys don't want nobody in there when were doing our business. and we sure as hell don't want to be chatting while taking a dump.. Maybe it's the fact we have to comment and/or giggle if we hear the splash or ducks quacking.. i dunno..
  19. I got stuck on another forum last year. It sucks. I'm not so trusting anymore and only deal locally when talking other than cash deals.
  20. This is not correct. you can legally ship hanguns resident to resident of the same state. your just limited as to the carrier used. This is a common misconception.
  21. Long guns are easy. they can go ground or even US Postal service. You are suppose to notify them and request signature on delivery. Handguns can get sticky.. The right way to ship a handgun person to person is via UPS or FedEx next day AIR with verbal notification and adult signature required.

Could be alot of things. relay, pressure switch, etc. There are good suggestions here about swapping relays and jumping pressure switches. I would do all those first. if your dryer or line has a sight glass and you are able to jump the switch look into the glass for bubbles or foam passing through it (if the compressor comes on) Personally I wouldn't attempt to add refridgerant yourself without knowing what's going on. I have seen way to many people come close to blowing themselves up playing with the AC. If the compressor comes on then goes off.. weather or not the evap ever gets cold or not you have IMHO a pressure issue. either low or high due to not enough freon or too much head pressure. Another possibility would be the evap freezing up but if the ac never gets cold I doubt that's the issue.
  23. Yes. you can ship long and short guns to another TN resident with no FFL. Some carrier specific rules apply "should you follow them" I never was one to follow all the rules. I march to the beat of my own drum.
  24. +1, I have taken a person check from members here. For me it's all about convience. I don't mind shipping. but.. it can be a hassle sometimes. so there are times when I wont ship. Not only that. I don't play by all the "rules" and some folks don't like that.
