  1. I will take that shoulder holster if it's still available. PM incoming.
  2. I have to agree. If someone is having a hard time and needs to unload something to cover their expenses there are several options already publicly available. I see no need to change things here. I didn't become a benefactor to post in the trading post. My decision was twofold, I like the site, and I know what it takes to operate it. I'm all about helping someone less fortunate. If someone knows of a family in need, I say we start a TGO fund to assist them. Not only will this help the family/families in need but it will also help promote this board and show others were not all gun slinging crack heads.
  3. Heck just add another gun or two in the thunderwear and you're all set.
  4. hmm.. I thoght it was cocksville
  5. I'm in too. gotta rack up some miles on the bike. almost a year old and only 3500 miles.
  6. I just carry owb and let the shirt flap. I don't really care if it's visable. I too am not compatible with iwb so unless i'm carrying the LCP in the pocket I just let it show.
  7. Welcome to TGO!
  8. Great Review. Enjoy it. I like these old H&R revolvers. I have several. I'll probably regret ever selling this one along with the dozens of others in the past but at least it found it's way to a great new owner who will take excellent care of it. B.
  9. anything is possible..
  10. I guess I need to pick up some steel wool and at least clean it up enough to get the model number off it.
  11. i wouldn't call it a lever it's more like a switch. but yes. it does remove the fore end and allow you to unscrew the barrel.
  12. I own a PT145. All the trading I do.. this one has stayed as all others have come and gone. The 3rd gen PT series pistols are about as good as it gets for the price. Mine has been flawless since day one.
  13. I have an old savage that despretly needs some attention. It was my Dad's and he didn't take the best care of his weapons over the last 20 years. Anyway I'm not even sure of the model bcasue the surface rust is so heavy. It appears to be a model 1899 or 99. Best I can tell it's an early model too becasue it's got the brass cartridge counter. I was going to steel wool it but thought I would try and figure out what exactly I had and if it was worth more or less restored or in it's current rusty state. The internals seem to be working and fairly tight. Almost to the point of dropping a few rounds down in her and takin er out back.. If it can be cleaned up, anyone know what that would cost? Also if anyone has a book maybe give me an idea as to it's value.

I can't find any markings on them. And I may want to sell them but I have to know what I have first. The small one has a snake engraved on the blade. pic below.

  18. Ammo is starting to trickle in everywhere and at pre 2009 prices. Wally World in Paris has had WWB 9mm, 45acp, 44mag, 40s&w. I have also ordered and recieved 250 rounds of 380, 40, 45, 38sp from different places in the past few weeks.
  19. Any time I have had dyno work for one of my Harleys it's run around $450. I think boswells's has one. I think there's also a place in Clarksville near Appleton's but the name escapes me at the moment.
  20. I had the PF9 and didn't like it at all. I picked up a Kahr PM40 and never looked back. I pocket carry the LCP or P3AT.
