  1. Pics aren't showing..
  2. Anyone looking for a inexpensive shooter should take advantage. Hands down the best deal anywhere. Buds has both 9mm and .40 for 299 delivered and with this: S&W Sigma Super Value Promotion - Smith & Wesson Makes them $249 Folks, you just can't beat that. If I didn't already have one... No matter what anyone says bad about these.. Find one and shoot it. You'll see most of them are totally full of ****. And that's my contribution for the month.. LOL Enjoy!
  3. I didn't think .380 came oficially in +p. maybe that's changed.
  4. MOst states allow transport as long as it's locked in a factory or other lockable case, unloaded and out of reach. typically in trunk, console, behind seat, glove box, etc.. As long as it's locked up in a case and unloaded you should be ok. It's always best to contact local LEO before travel tho.

    TGO shirts

Have any more of those black ones?
  6. I spoke with my agent about this not long ago. he said as long as most of the guns were locked in a reasonable safe. He wouldn't worry about it. He said in most cases intruders wouldn't bother the safe. Most burglers are in-and-out and don't bother with things that can delay their departure. Now having said that.. I'm sure it does happen where safes get stolen and/or destroied but I guess that's something we have to deal with if we have more weapons then our policies allow. I personally feed the insurance companies enough already and choose to not worry about it. It's not often my house is empty anyway. someone normally always around.
  7. +1 get it in the hands of someone who can enjoy it.
  8. A friend of mine has a CW9. It's a tad larger tho. but also a great gun.
  9. As most of you probably know, if you paid attention to the trading post areas.. I have bought and sold a good supply of everything mentioned accept the Kahr PM series. Personally I have settled on the .40 caliber. Kahr PM40. However, if I would have stayed with 9mm i would own the PM9. For me the PM series Kahr was a perfect fit and (for me) the perfect balance between size, accuracy, reliability, consealability. Of all the carry guns I've owned over the years the PM series Kahr is my favorite hands down.
  10. +1 works like a champ
  11. +1 as most of us think of our weapons as second nature, extensions of our hands or part our every day dress.. just like a wallet. As long as it's well consealed. don't worry about it.
  12. +1 on the promag. I have not had much luck with them either. I always get factory mags now.
  13. Looks like your link requires a login to view.
  14. I've had 3 in the past, all flawless. I also had the 9mm carbine which would eat up everything in it's path. The only problem I had with any of them was wally world WWB ammo. Hi-Points just don't like WWB ammo based on my experience.
  15. The auction sites are great but you still have to shop around. Prices go from steals to flat out highway robbery. You really should know what your looking for and what it's available locally for (before) you shop the auction sites.
  16. Most people are just plain stupid. Must be why I don't like most people.
  17. :poop::poop::poop: Just about as bad as White Castle & Old Style. Yum! I make the wife proud every time! Watch out for elivators and small rooms..
  18. +1 Dealing with GQ public totally sucks!
  19. I have recently picked up .380 from buds and sgcusa at reasonable prices. If you need ammo just keep an eye on some of the better class of online retailers and you'll eventually get some. even a backorder with sportsmanguide, midway, cabellas, etc will eventually land you ammo at good prices. Object here is to not be in a hurry. If you are out of ammo some guys here have stockpiles and can probably part with a box if you ask but don't plan on doing any range time untill one of your backorders come in.

    Used S&W 642

just an update. I'm picking it up today for 425 which I think is pretty fair. I don't think I could have done much better new + TT or shipping and transfer. It's the non locking model and has the box and papers..
  21. I have had both the PT-145 and PT745. Stil own the PT145. Both are fine guns and fired anything I put into the clip. HP's, ball, SWC, even wolf and brown bear. I don't think you can go wrong with the PT series Taurus.

Is $450 a good price used for this? it comes with ~50 rounds of ammo and a $25ish holster. I have no idea as prices are all over the board right now..
