  1. pound sand unless I couldn't locate something somewhere else. always be careful who ya tell to pound sand cause ya may be eating it later. but I guess it really dpends on the price.
  2. I had to rebuild my wifes computer yesterday. she got a virus I just couldn't shake.. 8 HOURS LATER all the updates finally completed. bloatware... total and utter bloatware. That'll teach me not to have a recent ghost image on hand.
  3. +1 something we agree on

    DON and CLEAR!!!

    :biglol::biglol:
  5. I keep 155gr for my PM40. My other larger 40's I'll go up to 165. This is good ammo but when I can get it I prefer rem gs or speer. I don't buy 180gr JHP in .40
  6. soon as that sob got at the drivers window he would have been blasted with several rounds. at that point it is justified in my opinion.
  7. same situation for just about everyone. I would have thought the shelves would be stocked up by now. I was at the walmart in murray, ky last week and the shelves were pretty bare still. I asked one sg employees about it and he said they only put out a few boxes of any caliber at a time. two reasons.. to keep one person from buying everything, and to keep the theives at bay. he said they kept it locked up under the counter because people were steeling it.
  8. I think you may have just contradicted your self on that one but at any rate you obviously know more then I on the subject so I'm gonna stay out of this one. for the record you're right about the OP. My bad..

Yeah.. were all a little in our own way. makes us all special.
  10. Not all people can carry a full size auto tho. I agree this is a good gun tho. too bad they don't make a smaller version. I would probably buy it.
  11. nobody said to get a 380. reread the post and see that it was comments regarding the brand quality and not the size.

looks like it's hit or miss.. at least with early serial numbers. Mine started with ZA11XX. I heard if you get above ZA15XX you have a better chance of a good one.

  14. I have a taurus tracker 44 4" 44mag with me when I go camping. it's light, reliable, and will kill just about anything I'm going to run up on.

back on toptic. i'm calling diamondback today to check the status of my gun. I finally found some reasonable ammo so i'll be ready to feed it several brands once I have it in my hands.
  16. well out of the list you have here the bersa would be your best bang for the buck. I have had bersa's since the early 90's and they are top notch and vary under-rated. there's good and bad in all but I can't ever remember hearing too much bad about bersa. I personally have not had the thunder 9 but the thunder 45 is top notch as well that the 380's.

Now what did I say in my original post. I said, ballistics didn't mean anything to me. So why are you bothering me with this crap. you are the one starting the argument. Anything that gives you an edge is an edge. I would pocket a rock to thro at someone over nothing at all. What data have I stated? I simply stated it was the pocket caliber of my choice and ballistics didn't matter to me.

psychology has absolutly nothing to do with it. holy crap there are such things as gun nutz. anyone want to be shot with a .380 today? ... ... ... ... ... .. .. .. I didn't think so. and that folks are the facts.

I look at the 380 like this.. it's the largest caliber pistol I can comfortably carry in my pocket no matter if i'm wearing shorts, sweats, jeans, or anything else for that matter. something is better then nothing folks. ballistics doesn't really matter to me in this situation.

I don't think it's got anything to do with being a display model. Best I can tell if you have a later serial number your probably ok.. earlier... your probably not. So far the most of the posts I have seen are good after the repair visit. I hope to have mine back this week.
  22. All kidding aside, I have to agree. The same can be said for any skills including general math. I can deal with the verbage or lack there of alot easier than I can deal with someone who can't count your change back to you. The sad part of it all is the fact most of these peaople have a highschool diploma. how the heck does somoene graduate without basic math skills. anyway, back writing my for sell ads in the trading post..
  23. my wife was looking over my shoulder.
  24. see, I can't even spell it right.
