Brought a Hellcat pro through Royal Range's EDC #3 course the other week. The Pro's larger grip eliminated the issue of getting a good grip on the gun, but would agree that this thing hits hard. Noticed my hand actually feeling sore the next day (~100-200 rounds?). I really like the ergonomics of the gun, i shot a Mod2 for past couple years so the trigger is what I am used to, no complaints there. Definitely need to take it through some more challenging classes to really make a final decision. Should I have rented it next to a 365xl? Probably. But the price was right, i really enjoy the sight picture, and have never had a failure with a Springfield.

Biggest complaint with the TX22 was not being zeroed out of the box, and having a HELL of a time getting it adjusted. You also need an ungodly small screwdriver to adjust the rear sight. I ended up loosening the thing up all the way and eyeballing it back down before getting a zero target and making smaller adjustments.

drive by it all the time, never ate there yet. will certainly try to swing by for a hello if im not out of town

dont think i could get away with a fisher shirt, hah, you bunch of dads. Appreciate the suggestions and the banter though gents. Going to take a trip through Duluth and see what else is out there locally i can try on

Lol. Bet it’d serve me well when shooting sporting clays

Check out the suggestions. Thanks gents. did an EDC class at royal tonight and found myself constantly adjusting a no name polo as it kept hanging up (though that was a slim cut). More optimistic that there’s options that I can make work after doing a class with full EDC rig.

Has anyone found a brand/company that sells casual tshirts they found pair with with AIWB, i.e., dont print egregiously? Upon looking holster shirts keep popping up, whereas i am just looking for a normal crew/v-neck tshirt that fits and doesn't look like im wearing a potato bag. Not a big guy, 5/10, 175lbs relatively fit build. Do they exist, or do i have to just accept that a "cover" shirt is the only good way to conceal?

Yeah, was sad when I saw the training review (just missed it). Will keep JM’s in mind too thanks

Shane actually brought me through my first year of classes while he was leading Royal Range’s program. Saw his post awhile back, definitely on my radar for his medical focused courses.

Live in Nashville city limits, wondering if anyone had any suggested classes that are relatively close? I have done a lot of classes through Royal Range (Defensive Pistol & Rifle, Gunfighter, Concealed Carry, and the SIMs course) over past few years, have always really enjoyed the instructors, but wondering if anyone had experience elsewhere they'd recommend? Enjoy shooting and moving and working from holster/transitions, less interested in standing in a booth and trying to make quarter sized groups at different distances. Nashville Armory? Glock Store? Owner/operators?

Last shot on the 1911 - will be trading in at Bass Pro if no takers by this afternoon. -
What mechanical safety is there? Like i said, thumb safety isn't my preferred, like the trigger/backstrap personally, but i am looking for something to provide that extra murphy's law protection.
-
So, i dont EDC currently. The 365/Hellcat both are grip is simply too small IMO, and i don't have a big hand. I don't think I'd feel confident sending rounds with precision with so little grip space. The XL gives that little extra grip length for me to feel confident on that. Now, one thing i dont understand is SIGs lack of any type of safety? Thumb safety is a new feature on XL, but appears to be gone again on the Macro. Mistakes happen, i just dont see how there can be nothing. I am a big fan of the trigger safety used by Springfield or the Shield+, especially when incorporated with the backstrap style additional safety.

any body attend the Lebanon show this weekend?

Preach man, preach. Seez - nothing jumped out to me, was happy to see the Pickle vendor back though. Honestly, buy more food than equipment at these things. Nothing in terms of gear seemed to be on sale or a steal as far as i could tell, didn't see any of the new firearms prominently featured either (e.g., Hellcat Pro, 365XL Macro, etc.,). -
It was taken off Mlok

So i do not want to join the group of "buckets of holsters" and gear I don't use lying around. With that in mind, have few items I want to get out the door. Since none of these are firearms, PayPal and shipping are available. I live in Nashville itself, but can ship at cost to you. Best reasonable offer on all goods. Uncle Mike's Reflex Holster - Springfield Mod2 (9mm, 4") Magpul foregrip Picatinny light mount Springfield XD Holster & Mag holder (was included with my 9mm Mod2) Nothing special folks, but maybe you'll get some use where i am not

Mounting pistol red dot to picatinny

Just ordered the ADE mounting plate. guess we'll see how it holds up -
Have a Riton Optics Tactix MPRD 2 (got it for free), want to use it as an offset backup. How do you all recommend mounting it to picatinny? Tons of cheap conversion plates on Amazon etc, but I don’t need this thing rattling off in one tactical class. Want something you all stand behind that also doesn’t cost as much as a whole other optic itself. has anyone used these Ritons before?

Well happy to let you check it out. Like i said, NIB so not much to see if you've ever checked out a Dagger in person before. Can PM me if you want to set something up In meantime, still open to other buyers that are willing to meet in Nashville with right paperwork. -
