  1. Figured I'd offer it up to community to see if anything would be useful to you. One man's trash is another man's treasure.

    • Prices... feel free to PM any reasonable offers. Used Amazon/Optics Planet where possible to just provide reference/details of product
    • Trades... nothing specific, but you're welcome to ask
    • Shipping... if outside Nashville, it'll be at cost. Most of these things aren't worth either of us driving anywhere.

    Optic:

    EarPro:

    • AXIL Earbuds - $100 [didnt fit me, so these are effectively NIB]

    Soft Goods:

    • Condor Plate carrier w/3 mag attachment - $40 [airsoft, security, shooting class, etc., link is closest i could find to mine]
    • VIKTOS Upscale2 CCW Slingbag- $50 [NIB]

    AR Parts:

    • Mil-spec charging handles (x2) - $8/ea
    • Mil-spec base plate (x2) - $1/ea or free w/any other purchase
    • Mil-spec flash hider - $5
    • Mil-spec buffer (out of a Ruger556) - $5
    • Workhorse Low Pro Gas Block - $25 [NIB]
    • Aeroknox Mag Extension Plus 5 - $25 [NIB]
    • AT3 Risers (0.83" & 1") - $25/ea [romeo5 hangs over, but ran multiple classes with this and it held zero no problem. Pistol dot would match great with these. ]
    • CHUBBY Grip - $10 [NIB]
    • No-name sling - $5

    Pistol Parts:

    • Strike Micro Comp - $40
    • Strike Glock baseplate - $10 [not compatible with PMAG baseplate]

  3. Been really happy with this build, but reality is this just isn't a fit for me and my grip. Nashville area trade preferred, as a sale would be going towards that pursuit

    • Springfield Echelon [straight]
    • DS 1911 (Prodigy, Stacc, etc.,) [will add cash]
    • $500 w/holster and mags, light/dot extra

    The build

    • PSA Dagger SW4 RMR Slide
    • SCT-19 Frame
      • OEM trigger w/competition internals (3.5lb pull +/-)
      • Magwell
    • (3) 17rd mags & (2) 15rd mags
    • Warhorse Level 2 Holster (RH w.TLR7A)
    • Holosun 507c (+$225)
    • Streamlight TLR7A (+$100)

  4. Sorry to hear that, my montefeltro has been an actual banger. My favorite purchase (10 yrs later).

buddies berettas were nice shooting, but price point was a bit higher too

  5. Found the hellcat pro to be fantastic… normal hellcat just a tad short in grip for me. A lot better with the extended mags so u can get your pinky solidly seated on frame will help the hellcat a lot though

    two upgrades I found made it a tremendous shooter;

    1. APEX trigger kit (lightens trigger, found the 8lb stock to be tough). Can shoot this better than full-sized Glock now

    2. Hogue grip (night/day in shootability). The small frame just beats the crap out of your hand, this gives it just enough forgiveness where u won’t walk out after a long range session with a bruised hand. Found gun just crushed the interior thumb bone with recoil

  6. #1 is how many calibers are you really trying to cover? Imagine there’s some sticker shock, but cans that cover wide variety of calibers saves you a lot of headache.
Rugged razor - 30cal can built like a tank. Really no complaints, though I might steer you to something user serviceable. Bought 2 muzzle devices and can swap between rifles in seconds. Stay away from folks who like proprietary mounting IMO

what I really wish I’d been able to find was a can that could run 9mm / 762 / 556.

patience and timing with some of the crazy deals that pop up in in awhile too (BOGO, free stamps, etc.,)

    • Thanks 1

I've shot 50 or so rounds through 2 different  guns. They shot well and felt good in the hand. I own  a Staccato XC, P, and C2.  With that being said, I wont be replacing any of the Staccatos with it, but I will probably buy one because its a good gun, that takes Glock mags lol. I'm not a fan of the Prodigy, IMO, its an $800 gun selling for about twice that. The new Girsan I handled felt like it had gravel in the slide and a 8 pound notchy trigger. This is just my opinion, your mileage may vary.

Grip strike you as different from your staccato? Saw one person note it still felt like a Glock, but I haven’t seen any other reviewers say it feels different than a normal 1911

If you are talking about a noise reduction device that fits on the end of the barrel of a firearm. I was working with my son a few months back. We over heard a few leftest commies talking about these and how it makes it easier for a "killer to kill more people, because no one will here the shots". No lie, I had to keep from laughing, my son had to hold me back from giving them the truth.

I cant believe people think "Hollywood quite" is real.

Guilty of this myself honestly. I don't think its being a "left wing commie", its just lack of experience.

The first time i heard a can in person was at an indoor range (glock, sub-sonic rounds i'd guess). I was floored how quiet it was. But thinking about that, i'm already wearing ear-pro, and he's doing everything to make that shot as quiet as possible in an already loud environment.

Next experience was in rifle classes; and my thought was "damn, i appreciate how much quieter that is". Context, ear-pro, indoors, single-shooter. All it took was breaking the seal on one ear to drive home how loud that shot still was though.

It was those subsequent experiences that made me fall into that category GrayFox references... can's save ears baby!
