  1. My day one of 2021, so far this year sucks.
  2. If anyone around Murfreesboro is looking for a Beretta APX, this looks like a good deal: https://www.sportsmans.com/shooting-gear-gun-supplies/handguns/beretta-apx-pistol/p/1470197
  3. If you are wanting to get 357 Magnum velocities, Green Dot is not going to get you as high FPS as other powders. It's burn rate is too fast and the volume needed to get 1400-1500 FPS will not be safe. Green Dot is between Titegroup and Zip, Titegroup being the fastest and looking at http://reloadammo.com/357loads.htm, Zip can get you to 1307 FPS. Winchester 296 is a slower burn rate, more volume but gets you over 1500 FPS. I know you want to use what you have and as long as you are OK with 1200 FPS (my WAG) you should be able to make it work.
  4. No, No, No.....they are perfect for your tactical mandolin case.
  5. You might look for a Bonanza co-ax press on Ebay. Looks like a Forster and a lot of the parts are interchangeable. I picked one up from a member here and absolutely love it. I have not tried priming on it, I think I will stick with a hand primer. I'm sure I would lose some primers trying to load them one at a time.
  6. Yes, a 22LR. BIL is using a tricked out 10/22 with various Volquartsen and Kidd parts.
  7. CZ 457. The sole purpose is friendly competition with my brother in law to see who can consistently hit a golf ball at 300 yards. Last time got it dialed in on a 6" steel target, will try for the 3" target on the next trip. I'm having a lot of fun with this one.
  8. Here is the number I have: 615-477-9839 He doesn't keep regular hours, I usually give him a call to let him know I ordered something and then set up a time to pick it up once it arrives. I have picked up guns the same day they were delivered, I've used places in the past that would take up a week to let me pick it up.
  9. I put together an AR pistol for the same reasons as you and didn't go with the brace. I really like my setup and enjoy shooting it and wanted to make a couple of suggestions. I put a foam pad on the buffer tube so it's more comfortable to hold against my cheek and my red dot is on a riser which makes it the correct height while holding against cheek. The sights are cheap ones I got from Midsouth Shooters Supply, I think they were $30 but they work fine. Not sure how they will old up long term though.
  10. Depending on how far west you want to go, Taylor's Gun Shop in Dickson is great. $15 transfer + $10 TICS, and each additional gun on the same form is only an additional $5. I have used him for several years, great guy to deal with.
  11. I have purchased several guns from them. Every transaction went smooth and shipping was very fast.
  12. +1 for Olight. I have them everywhere, I love the magnetic tail cap. They have some good deals on their website every so often.
  13. Palmetto State Armory has dropped the price on the 4" model to $279.99 with free shipping. I might have to get one.
  14. Pre-order at Brownells and use code NBH, price ends up $460 shipped.
  15. I have ordered from them several times and they always ship fast. I ordered one gun in the morning and it shipped the same day and arrived at my FFL the next day. I think they ship 2nd Day Air, but from TX is has always showed up the next day.
  16. Great flashlights and a great cause. Just ordered the H1 Nova.
  17. Not a very good picture, it's a screen shot from a slow motion video. I was shooting my 357 reloads out of a Ruger LCR which was not fun but I thought the picture was interesting.
  18. You cannot go wrong with Cajun Gun Works. David is great person and will do whatever he needs to make sure everything is right. I stopped in at his workshop to pick up a few parts a couple of years ago and he spent several minutes showing me what I needed to polish on my PCR since I was doing it myself. I have also talked to him on the phone to get help with my P-09. I won't use anyone else for CZ parts or work.
  19. Thanks for the heads up. I just ordered the Mandolin case for my AR pistol.
  20. I had my first one in 1986. Growing up in Montana my parents took a trip to Nashville and brought a box back with them. Never heard of them before that, but damn they are good.
  21. I haven't tried it, but looking at the load data, Ramshot Competition should work for the power factor you want.
  22. Picked up a S&W 686
  23. One of the springs is not set correctly behind the lever in the sear cage. You will need to remove the sear cage but should not need to disassemble. You will need a slave pin to do this, I have one you can use or if you want I can give you the dimensions when I get home on Friday.
