  2. Wasn't trying to be a smart @$$, because I have never made a mistake, I thought I did once, but I was just wrong. LOL Very desirable 1911.
  3. "C" prefix and no U.S. acceptance stamps and not U.S. ARMY or U.S. Property marked? Looks like a civilian 1911 to me, as O.P. stated.

Comes with 4 half moon clips, ammo not included.Great shooter and good history piece. $800 Located in Lebanon/Mount Juliet area.
  6. I don't think so. The blued bayonets I have seen have been on early rifles. I believe this is original blueing. May have been the process before they had the availability to do the chroming. I believe this is the bayonet that came with this rifle.
  7. And smoking a cigar! Didn't take long for them to pick up our bad habits.
  8. Early Russian SKS, 1950 dated with uncommon blued bayonet. Stock and magazine do not matching to rest or rifle. Sling, oil bottle and cleaning kit. $800 Trades would be for U.S. and German military arms. Located in Lebanon/Mount Juliet area.
  9. Serial number indicates Remington Rand frame, info taken from 40th anniversary edition Bluebook Gun Values.
  10. Received from CMP as a ANAD rebuild Field grade, RR frame and Colt slide with different finishes. I purchased a RR slide and had refinished to be what I believe would be a Service Grade or better condition pistol by CMP standards. Contractor numbered barrel and magazine. Serial number shows 1945 production date. Have CMP certificate and hard case. Trades on other U.S. and German military arm. $1650. Must meet legal requirements to purchase. Located in the Lebanon/Mount Juliet area.
  11. I picked up a Browning saddle for ring carbine with no safety. Very lucky to find one. Good luck with sale, beautiful rifle.
  12. Does this 1886 have a tang safety?
