  1. WhatUpWitchU? So in way one you go around with 1 less round than you could have in the gun?
  2. no newly manufactured full auto to the public thats why the redicoulous prices. I think the latest you could build your own was 86.
  3. I had the darker tint on my car when it was legal & loved it, as it kept the car cooler, & kept potential thief’s from seeing easily what’s in the vehicle to steal. I remember horror stories from those days about people driving through Va. In my opinion the main thing wrong with Va. is the fact that it’s too damn close to D.C. BTW if you are a LEO & your too scared to walk up on a particular vehicle because you cant see in, there is a pa on most squad cars, order the occupants out of the vehicle from the safety of your cruiser.
  4. If its in the safe no mags, all my pistol mags are kept in nylon magazine storage pouches, all rifle mags are stacked on a shelf.
  5. Start at 25yrds, use a large piece of cardboard to see where you are hitting, fire at least 3 shots at a time to get a group so your not trying to adjust for flyers flinching etc. Once your happy at 25yrds move out to a farther distance. I assume this is 5.56 you will need to decide at what range you want the final zero to be at. This will depend on what you intend to do with it as the flight path of the bullet will be zeroed at 2 different ranges. I usually do a battle zero with an AR, a zero at 25 meters will coincide with a 300 meter zero & everything in between will only be off slightly in elevation but that is just my preference.
  6. I might also recommend http://www.shootersdomain.com/index.html if your in the east tn area
  7. Dual monitor pc just finished full metal jacket again, looking at the remake of elm street now
  8. I think U guys maybe haven't heard the argument that I have, that the second amendment isn't without limits, then they bring up the theater B.S. like hey you cant carry your gun into the park because you might go batsh*t crazy & kill all the little "childrens" for no good reason. Ok so its illegal to shout fire in a theater - we don’t remove peoples tongues before they go in, removing the possibility that they could yell fire, even if the place was actually on fire! So its illegal to murder people for no good reason, don’t take my gun away, I might need it to protect myself or someone else! <O:p></O:p>
  9. I am so sick & freakin tired of hearing that tired old hey “you cant yell fire in a crowded theater†B.S. that I can barely stand it! This in no way applies or compares to the second amendment. The only way this would remotely be comparable would be if we cut out people’s tongues as they entered the theater & then reattached them as they left. Of course only after they passed the proper background checks paid their tongue registration fees & took a class in the proper use of said body part! thoughts?
  10. I think these are almost impossible to beat http://store.peakbattery.com/lfp123a-32-volt-600-mahr-lithium.html I have been using them in led surefires for roughly 2 years now – voltage is slightly higher so I don’t know if they will work with streamlight & they definitely wont work with bulbs as the higher voltage will kill the filament quickly & yeah they’re only rated at 600mah but rechargeable. As far as I know this is the only rechargeable lithium with this particular chemistry.
  11. what u dropping them into
  12. Some places post these signs to appease those that don't know any better knowing full well that those that do know better will ignore them, while some other places are ignorant of the law themselves & don't know how to correctly post. Either way if your concealed know one should even notice & the most they can do is ask you to leave.
  13. decal on the door with a gun with the red circle and slash and below it read, "No guns or weapons allowed on the premises." You do realize that this sign is totally meaningless. Luckily my guy is a long-range target shooter & totally gun friendly so no worries for me.
  14. Don't mock the power of the wolf btw Garufa that Fred Garvin avitar kills me!
  15. I think the key term here is mil spec as the tolerances will be looser.
  16. Is it typical to recieve these fed ex overnight?
  17. If your into firefly's went there & saw this once, the main thing was that I had to hike a good ways up a trail as it looked like a packed club scene at the trailhead with all sorts of brilliant individuals with flashlights Appalachian Voice - The Synchronous Fireflies of Elkmont

  19. http://www.thegunzone.com/556v223.html also my speer reloading manual says "shooting 5.56 in .223 rifles results in excessive pressure"
  20. Hello welcome from the middle of Greeneville
  21. I think you can count on reloading for now, if you can find dies - I haven't looked. I think the main advantage is squeezing an extra round in a small frame revolver.
  22. Primary roll in hand – back up roll on roller, orientation not critical – secondary backup on counter! If all else fails the shower is right there!
  23. So they let you renew anyway? If they did the reciept counts as a temp permit.
  24. I am happy to still have a job in this shi**y economy the company I worked for basically went belly up & was bought out by another company that originally decided they didn't need me, 3 days later they called & asked if I would come back. At that time I was the senior design engineer, now a year later the job location has moved 65 miles away & I had to take a big pay cut to keep a job. Still like the job but man the commute sucks!
  25. Ne hao! Ever been to the Pig-n-Thistle bar in the Holiday in Lido Beijing? A real sight to see this time of year, I also recommend the Peking duck if your in Beijing. Have you been to a teahouse, the British just think they take tea seriously! Also have you seen any Oba Mao Tshirts?
