  1. The safety also serves as a firing pin block on those make sure the blocking part is not still blocking when its off
  2. In a legal scenario where would the manufacturers advertized length be - probably ignored but if I bought it on good faith that it was under 4" shouldn't that mean something.
  3. I have some of this stuff - i bought it as a novelty collectors item though
  4. I love mine took around 100 rnds to break it in - mostly feed issues but it cycles everything I feed it now, never had an issue going bang - has it been dry fired that could've damaged the firing pin.
  5. With the quaility of todays shingles imo metal is the only way to go 2 different houses I've had every wind storm we had id find shingles in the yard. Paid 3k a few years back for a little larger roof & have been very satisfied - just make sure its installed per the manufacturers specs so they will honor the warranty if something does happen.
  6. Do they cram an extra round in the cylinder with the 327? Only benefit I could see if they do
  7. I don't think this is anything new I think these are just getting more publicity now for some reason.
  8. Dang it they pushed the droid 4 back another month now Jan
  9. Jeez Red, er Mike didn't mean to strike a nerve. I just never even considered living anywhere that I would have to park on the street, just didn't seem right to me, & the op mentioned the carport so I was curious. I have a hard enough time keeping people from running into my house much less a car parked on the street - yeah go ahead & say it people in Gville can't drive its true!
  10. Unless it can't be helped why would you leave any vehicle out at the street - drunks sides-swipers, theifs etc?
  11. A TN carry class is just a bunch of mandated legal bs that the state requires be in there - in my opinion it really does nothing to prepare you to defend yourself with a handgun, for that you need some other training. A few places attempt to go the extra mile & actually squeeze in some more useful stuff but most people just want their "ticket punched".
  12. It really boils down to 2 things - will it run in your particular firearm & can you hit what your aiming at with it - anything else is a bonus.
  13. Used to be a Gun & Vacuum Cleaner shop in the Johnson City area - at one time was my fav place to go, best selection of firearms around plus I could grab some vacuum cleaner bags or belts if needed. It isn't around anymore. There is a Pawn - Gun - Tobacco outlet in Greeneville. However I wouldn't recommend it as selection & prices are not that great.
  14. Basically the gun busters meant nothing untill they legallized restaraunt carry the second time around & as part of that someone agreed to make the gunbuster signs legal - really pissed me off as I know of places that were posted that way just to pacify the sheeple without having any real effect on permit holders
  15. Do you have a good reloading book with load / bullet specs in it - most bullets are an odd dimension compared to the caliber.
  16. You might consider a NY trigger in that Glock
  17. If you keep up with all this stuff the nra is always late to the party or actually pushing a bad bill, & yeah they will take credit for something that someone else did. They have become a money organization & they get none of mine.
  18. Life - but don't give them a dime if you keep up with the issues they're always late & claim the work someone else has done, or they push things that are actually counter productive, & only want yor money. I choose to give my money to other no compromise organizations.
  19. Tac2? Kettlefoot? I have shot some cool stages both places seem to remember carrying a baby around at kettlefoot once, doc has some cool stuff some times shooting from inside a jeep moving targets etc
  20. Were you using a flashlight in that low light, & are you referring to point shooting as in without using the sights?
  21. Hang on brother droid 4 4g with slider is coming
  22. There are different heights for both, I have one of each that r exactly the same but you can get different. I prefer absolute & the cheap mako mount is the correct height for that.
  23. My 2 cents, don't wear a belt with your name on it some con artist can come up to calling you by name & catch you off gaurd while your trying to remember who they are because you forgot that your name is on your belt.
  24. The guy with the blue hair gauged ears & his pants down to his knees! LoL!
  25. If you want a rechargeable 123 look for LFP123's they were designed to be safer & not explode the chemistry is different. They don't have or perhaps don't overstate their capacity like many other rechargeable 123's. We sell a device where I work that we have sold many different 123's with & it is not sealed but we have had many incidents with batteries until we switched to these & have never seen one of these vented even when severly abused. I personally use them in my surefires & have never had an issue.
