Thanks for all of the feedback. I haven't really figured out what I want to do yet. I spoke with my wife about it last night as she really likes the gun. She is now concerned. Guess we need to buy more guns.

Hey ya!

I just saw another video of a P320 going off in a holster. I have a P320, but I don’t carry it daily, although was considering it. Thoughts? If you have one, or had one, would you carry it daily, or regulate it to range shooting, or just say “F It” and sell it?

You need to have posts made and a specific time. I don’t recall the numbers. You’ll get them eventually. But in the mean time, as TripleGGG said, ask the seller to contact you.

Welcome to the TGO! -
To me, the answer would be, what other guns do you have? Do you have other 30-30 or 308 chambered guns? If so, that would push the edge that way. For me, I like to optimize my ammo supply, not having to buy tons of different types of ammo. Me, I’d go 30-30 as I already have a 30-30 lever action, and don’t have any 308 guns at all (yet). Does Henry make a 6.5CM lever? If so, that would be what I would want.

Agreed, the real question is, did he do anything to increase his wealth here. It doesn’t look like it, but I don’t know all of the details of his trades. I would guess he didn’t because that would be obvious and stupid. I did hear one theory from some democratic senator that it was done via various bit coins transfers and that if you purchased enough you could get direct access to the president. But there is no proof of this ever happening and it was really convoluted process that he was describing. I seriously doubt it was true. Here is another problem though, is that politicians and their families are ALLOWED to buy and sell stocks. So even if he did buy and sell and made money, you would have to prove he did it before any announcements. Just because they made money, doesn’t necessary mean anything was done improperly. Heck, I made money on these bounces (some stocks at least and I have zero knowledge of just about anything).

Update : Stocks retreating again. Nice big bump there.

Just looked at the 50+ stocks I am watching and everything is recovering nicely so far today. I think only 2 are down.

The DMV in TN is a walk in the park on a beautiful spring day; you want fun, try going to the SoCal DMV. It’s an absolute disaster. Even if you have an appointment that you need to get 6 months in advance, you still have to wait 4 to 6 hours and then you better not have any question or mistakes.

When I moved to TN a few years ago, we got our licenses in Dickson DMV, they told us that generally ALL new licenses are issued as RealIDs, and they are. We tend to fly a lot, so it is important for us to have them. But for those who say they “never” fly, the problem comes up when you HAVE to fly for something, now it is just a pain in the butt to fly (I guess as long as you carry your passport it doesn’t matter). But each their own, once you get it, you’ll always have it so it is pretty simple process. I do wonder if they are going to make RealID a requirement to vote; trying to eliminate some of the illegals from the voting process (not such a big deal in TN, but other states yes).

If you're trying to make money short term; then you're having a bad day. Look at it long term, you should be investing in stocks that have long term potential anyway. So you lost 10% in 2 days, big deal. As long as you're holding for years, they are going to recover at some point. Yeah, it sucks to watch them go down, but good, long term stable companies that make 5 to 10% year over year is what you should be looking for. In the end you'll be better off.

Buying more stocks today, had money waiting for a good dip.

What Ammo do you have in your HD AR mags?
DraxTheDad replied to 22lr's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
In all honestly, I use generic cheap ammo in my AR Home Defense setup. Why? Well, in the range that I would engage in within about 50 yards, and at that range I can practice with the cheap ammo a lot and I do. Same ammo I practice with is the ammo in my HD AR. Yeah, I know there is better ammo to use that would probably work better; but I'm not 100% convinced it would be all that much better. That and I expect to use my handgun more in a HD situation, and for those, I do have better home defense rounds. My wife will handle the AR, I'll engage with the handgun. -
I have a nice big barn but it sits on a slab that is about 6 to 8" above the ground, I need to build a run up to it. On the back side I'm going to need more, as it is about 16" above ground there.

My range on my land is 60 yards right now, I want to push it out to 100 yards, but I need to do some tree clearing to make that happen. I have 100+ acres of woods, so no real backstop. Love having It out there to go plink on. I do plan on building a good backstop with the trees I fell from pushing it out to 100 yards, in the mean time, going to just enjoy it for what it is. The sound of the metal targets is awesome, love having them out there.

I have my license, and as of yesterday passed my hunters safety course. Have never been hunting. But I do put out corn for the deer on my land; there aren't a lot of deer and I would like to have more on the land (have 100+ acres). Previous owner hunted them to near extinction. So just because there is corn in their bellies doesn't mean they are being hunted over the bait.

Hate to hear this, sorry man, Prayers out to you and your family.

How far out do they do their work? I have a house out in Waverly that needs some cement work.

I have a Baofang and was going to get my HAM license because I thought it necessary. I have a house just outside of Nashville and have yet to hear any one of the repeaters transmit anything. Not a lot going on as far as I can tell, so I'm not really excited about anything. In the time of strife, when SHTF, no one will care if you're licensed or not.

U.S. Supreme Court is the New GhostBusters
DraxTheDad replied to gun sane's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
This is a bit ridiculous and not a good sign for our 2nd amendment rights. Building guns has been common since the founding of the country and now we are basically losing this. Fortunately I have many 80% receivers that need to be finished because I don't know if I'll be able to get more later. I have enough to build a new AR15 and AR10 for each member of my family, so I should be good for a while. -
This is what I am thinking, I think that over time I would find more and more uses for it. I have a big barn that has to be finished; but should be a good storage location. I need to get the run up’s into and out of the barn done so that I can park it in there. Thanks for the suggestion, I do think that a little more is better than too little, plus it doesn’t add a whole lot more cost; the first big chunk is the expensive part.
