Dr. Jordan Peterson Heard he is popular with 20-30 something males who want to straighten out their lives and those who seek to take responsibility for their lives, as well as some discussion on psychology. So wanted to hear what I was missing. He is very good, but some of his podcasts are long.

Woody???? May not be the best word choice.

Attempting to Make Anti-Gunner's Heads Explode
Patrick Henry replied to Navy Chief's topic in General Chat
Is the BR-549 approved for the use of exploding bullets and those bullets that cook the meat for you? And what about armor piercing and bunker penetrating ammo? -
Sam's Club has the Walker Razor on sale for about $32. A couple of people have told me they like them. I have a pair of inexpensive Caldwell's (<= $35) and they are ok. Comparing the two I think the Walker's appear to be better made. I double up and use plugs also when in an indoor range and when outside if shooter next to me is shooting something I find to be extremely loud.

Dick's Sporting Goods anti 2nd A
Patrick Henry replied to Patrick Henry's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
It made the news because it supports the MSM (main stream media) agenda. -
Is another guns & ammo shortage looming?
Patrick Henry replied to gregintenn's topic in General Chat
I asked at Academy yesterday if they were seeing an increase in gun and ammo sales, and they said a slight increase. Their ammo inventory did not appear to be lacking even in 22LR. -
Went to my local Dick's this evening. Spoke with the store manger. Told him this is not personally directed towards him. Handed him a copy of their corporate leadership anti Second Amendment announcement from today and my Dick's Score Card, and told him I am offended, they have lost me as a customer, and I will tell others why I no longer shop there.

Recommend a handgun and a carry holster for a newbie
Patrick Henry replied to jgradyc's topic in Women's Perspectives
The NRA magazine, don't recall the issue, in 2017 did a story about women shooting a number of handguns and how they rated them. There were some winners and losers. -
Bonnie & Clyde appear to have had a fondness form Mr. Browning's designs.

What are some good websites to purchase a high quality combat life saver IFAK (Individual First Aid Kit) and additional supplies, including tourniquet, Israeli bandages, Halo chest seals, nasopharyngeal airway tube, 14 gauge needle/catheter, etc....

The museum on base is well worth your time.

Maryland is a shotgun & muzzleloader only state. I have used a 12 ga. with Hastings rifled choke tube (I do not believe these are made any longer) and Winchester BRI sabots. Longest shot has been no more than 80 yards. At 50 yards you can expect about a 3" grouping with a 3" red dot sight. A scope might improve accuracy. A 12 or 20 ga. slug is effective; they leave a big hole.

brought a tear to my eye. The moral of the story is so true.

For the love of God, what's your chigger remedy???
Patrick Henry replied to Wingshooter's topic in General Chat
run hot water over the bites or soak a washcloth in hot water and cover the bites. This will work with most bug bites and poison ivy. Relief will last for hours. -
I believe those were called punt guns. A market hunter, in a small boat with the "shotgun" muzzle resting in the bow of the boat, would float up towards a flock of water fowl floating on the water and kill many with one shot.

so if I understand this correctly, if this piece of legislation were to be passed they would be in effect be exempting themselves from the law that applies to the rest of us. This is elitism!

They work. Easier to load than a wood stove. Many have a hopper to feed them so you only have load them a couple times a day. And unlike a coal stove the ash is harmless. Consider listing it on Craigslist or other community websites

Like some others here I had a tragic boating accident losing the few that I had, and I was uninsured. I have never recovered from my loss. I am hoping Obama will issue an executive order offering affordable gun insurance before he leaves office so others don't needlessly suffer like I and my family have. Those of you who believe in socialist redistribution please send me a message letting me know what you have to offer so I and my family are no longer defenseless and unable to exercise our 2nd Admendment rights.

My #%&$@ Spike's Tactical AR
Patrick Henry replied to East_TN_Patriot's topic in Gunsmithing & Troubleshooting
I have the exact same issue (deeply dented brass upon feeding) with a PSA blem premium upper (FN carbine barrel); see pics on page 1. Can anyone recommend an AR15 gunsmith in Nashville, Franklin, Murfreesboro area? -
I liked the suggestion of the folding chair bag and many of these have a shoulder strap. Then you could also use one of the thicker gun socks such as BoreStore inside it to add a little protective cushioning and to help breakup the outline.

you may want to read RandyWakeman.com He did a review an likes it.
