Hmmm…..cut VA benefits but no talk of cutting benefits to illegal aliens? Why is that? -
New house foundation : concrete slab or crawl space ?
Patrick Henry replied to tercel89's topic in General Chat
My home is on a slab as are many in my neighborhood. Many of these houses have failed radon tests and thus have radon mitigation systems. So a slab does not stop radon. -
Yes they will. Traditional blued steel and walnut cost significantly more to produce. And some argue these new rifles are of higher quality than JM Marlins. The high value of JM Marlins will hold due to the pricing of these Ruger Marlins.

New house foundation : concrete slab or crawl space ?
Patrick Henry replied to tercel89's topic in General Chat
Basement or a slab is my preference. Recently bought a house built in the early ‘80s. It is on a slab. Home inspector said a slab is much better than a crawl space due to mold concerns. I have a friend who just spent about $10k on mold mitigation. My house is one story so it is easy to drop electrical lines from attic. -

Saw one in Birmingham at Hoover Tactical a couple of months ago. I regret I did not ask to see it. I believe they were asking $1,500. I went back about 5 weeks later and it was sold.

Driving to California with handgun
Patrick Henry replied to gearyr's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
I drove to LA last summer and only took 10 round magazines with me. It is illegal to be in procession of magazines that hold more than 10 rounds in CA. You cannot carry in CA. You cannot have it in your vehicle in CA unless it is locked up and out of reach and ammo is separated from firearm, and you are on your way to/from the range or gun smith (if my memory is correct); so know where the ranges are!! Some people just leave the firearm locked up in hotel room once they arrive in CA. I recall there is a CA gun owners website that outlines the laws there. -
I have been told of feeding issues with steel case ammo.

And never confuse intelligence with wisdom. There are a lot of intelligent people who do not have the wisdom to properly apply their knowledge.

Praying for both of you.

I did tactical hand gun class 1 with them years ago. Very good. It was a full Two days, 500 rounds. And it really covered tactical hand gun classes 1 & 2.
