In RoadRunner magazine Dec. 2005, they gave this bike a great review. They said it was a great all-around bike.

I second this, if you look you can find a nice used cheap bike to learn to ride on and when you get ready to sell it you can get most if not all of your money back on it. I bought my wife wife a 06 GZ250 for $2,200 she rode it for 6 months and we were able to sell it for what we paid for it. Just my $.02 worth. Good luck on what ever you decide.
  6. A $20,000 motorcycle and no clock on it, my $10,000 Kawasaki has a clock. Just kidding around with you.
  7. I was 12 when I got my first BB gun and I bought my first .22 when I was 15, it was a Iver Johnson and it looked like a M1 carbine. I helped a guy roof a house and he paid me $100 and I bought the gun for $80.
  8. I have a friend that is planning to go and maybe his wife, but they will be on one bike.
  9. Thanks, its my baby.
  10. I do not ride that fast, its just for show.
  11. I thought there would be cruisers than sportbikes.
  12. Kawasaki ZZR1200 My wife's bike
  13. There is a guy in Castalian Springs on Harsh Lane that works on bikes on the side. I talked to him a long time ago and he sounded like he knew a lot about motorcycles but that is up to you. I will pm you his number.
  14. I was planning on going but I wanted to talk to my wife to make sure we did not have anything planned that day and to see if she wanted to go. So she and I will be there. I was looking at the the map and we might part ways in Columbia and ride 412 to 99 to 231 to 109 and come back to Gallatin that way instead of the interstate, if anyone is interested you are welcome to ride along.
  15. Welcome, I live in Gallatin also.
  16. You are a day late and a dollar short. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/tennessee-politics-legislation/24205-gallatin-council-discusses-defers-talk-opting-out-guns-parks.html
  17. I got the the first yes vote in. There is a lot of people who ride cruisers that enjoy a good twisty road I was with a few this weekend, we rode 875 miles in two days. We rode the Snake in Shady Valley, part of the Blue Ridge Parkway, 2 different Foothill Parkways, and of course the Tail of the Dragon
  18. I was there today and as a matter of fact there was a THP in that parking lot looking right at me when I came around that last curve. I locked her down and I am surprised he did not come after me. I do not know if I got slowed down in time or he was feeling generous. After I passed him I noticed his brake lights were on like he was ready to go after a speeder.
  19. I was shocked that it passed unanimously. The Chief of Police was ticked when it passed, you could see it in his face. I hope they do not change their minds in two weeks. I will be there to at least say thanks next week.
  20. Thanks, I have spoke to my councilmen ( Mr. Overton ), and the 2 councilmen at large also. I was there last Tues. and will be there this Tues. also.
  21. Sloan's in the Boro and their is a place in Old Hickory, but I do not know the name of it.
  22. Nice bike. Why did you to Jemison, Al.? The reason I ask that is where I was raised.
  23. I have ate there several times and i have been trying to get my wife up there and we were riding our bikes in that area and she said she was hungry so I suggested we go to Harpers. I pull in the driveway and she stops at the entrance, she did not want to ride in the gravel. So we went to E. G. Dumplings in Scottsville. It was as good as Harpers IMHO.
  24. Here is pictures of me on the Dragon
