Nice I used to have a 84 750 Interceptor, I traded it for a new 03 ZZR1200 in 05, and then in 08 I thought I wanted a cruiser and sold the 03 and bought a 05 Mean Streak . Two and a half months later I sold the Mean Streak and bought the 05 ZZR1200 I have now.

I do not know how you can tell the age of it. You have to manually rack the bolt for shorts. Mine has the same words on the barrel. You can try www.rimfirecentral.com for a age, I looked in some old gun books and it said they were made between 1938-1968. Here is thread I made when I got mine Finally I found a $25 rifle - RimfireCentral.com Forums

Sounds like a Savage 6A. The hole in the front is locks the bolt so you can use shorts and longs. They call it the click clack gun because of the sound it makes. The next time you shoot it pull the trigger and hold it the trigger, the bolt should stay open until you release the trigger.
  17. Welcome, I live in Gallatin also.
  18. They are a great gun I love mine. I mainly use the federal 550 bulk pack and I have not any problems with the 15/22. It is a little lighter than a AR/15.
  19. Nice collection of Mossbergs I love the old Mossbergs I have a 151K, 144LSB, and a Revelation 100B which is a Mossberg 321 single shot. I bought my stepson a Mossberg model 45 for Christmas a few years ago.
