This issue came up at work about 3 or 4 months ago, we have a warehouse in Birminham, Al. and one of the drivers there decided to clean ( play ) with his .380 at one of our biggest customers business while they were unloading the trailer and shot his pinkie & the finger next to it off. The company policy book said no firearms on property or in company vehicles, so needless to say he lost his job and we almost lost the customer. The company reminded everybody no firearms on company property, including personal vehicles, before this they were pretty relaxed about this rule. I think they stress no firearms more now because if a innocent somebody gets hurt because someone is playing ( sorry cleaning ) with a firearm the company is liable. We have not had any seaches, so I think the company is trying to protect themselves.
