  4. I got mine from my motorcycle Kawasaki ZZR1200 <<<<<< Just like this one
  5. I went to IDPA at the Gallatin Gun Club last Sat. but it was rained out, and several of us was playing around and I hit the 100 yard gong with my Kimber on the first shot ( lucky I know ). There was one guy who shot and hit the 300 yard gong on the first try with a M&P 9mm. A couple of guys hit the gong at 100 yards on the first try. A lot guys was hittng the 100 and 300 yard gongs after they seen where the bullet was hitting and adjusted their aim.
  6. Welcome, I live in Gallatin, but I grew up in a small town below B'ham called Jemison.
  7. I use a stock Glock 34 9mm, and a Kimber Custom II in .45ACP.
  8. I had a para companion LDA, it was OK, but I ended up trading it on a new Glock 23. I have 3 mags for the Para I am selling if interested.
  9. Count me in, and I have a good date to start, 4-14-07, which is the day we are going to have a GSSF style match at the Gallatin Gun Club, any gun can shoot, no drawing from the holster, and you stand in one spot. Any takers? www.gallatingun.com
  10. I used to listen to Dave but after a while you can predict what he is going to say. I called wwtn told them they needed to get Steve back and put Phil back on 9-1. Now I listen to 1510 when I can pick it up, until Phil comes on.
  11. Go to a match and see what everbody is using.
  12. This issue came up at work about 3 or 4 months ago, we have a warehouse in Birminham, Al. and one of the drivers there decided to clean ( play ) with his .380 at one of our biggest customers business while they were unloading the trailer and shot his pinkie & the finger next to it off. The company policy book said no firearms on property or in company vehicles, so needless to say he lost his job and we almost lost the customer. The company reminded everybody no firearms on company property, including personal vehicles, before this they were pretty relaxed about this rule. I think they stress no firearms more now because if a innocent somebody gets hurt because someone is playing ( sorry cleaning ) with a firearm the company is liable. We have not had any seaches, so I think the company is trying to protect themselves.
  13. I read on glocktalk a while back the M44 groups more accurately when the bayonet is extended, I do not know how true this is but several people said the same thing.
  14. Try posting that question over at www.rimfirecentral.com , they might be able to help you. I think the people that shoot in the matches at the GGC. use a Winchester 52D. Another thing you will need is a good scope.
  15. That was hilarious Macho999

    Leftys check in

I am right handed but my left eye dominant. My dad taught me shoot my first BB gun and he is left handed, so I always shoot a long gun left handed and I shoot a pistol right.
