I was the perfect example of a humanist by doing what ever I wanted and what "felt" good. The Bible just couldn't be true in my eyes because of things like dinosaurs. From the time a person can read they are taught that dinosaurs lived "millions of years ago". I no longer buy that. There is plenty of scientific evidence that agrees with what the Bible says. It is up to each person who and what they WANT to believe.

Just found one of these nesting in a bird's nest that was in a small tree at the corner of my house. I got him out with a stick(didn't know what kind of snake it was at the time) and he fell to the ground. I spent the better part of an hour trying to find him again so I could snatch him up for some pictures but had no luck.

I got pulled over a few years ago by a metro cop on I-24 at Briley Parkway for passing him. I was doing the speed limit when I passed and he immediately got behind me. He continued to follow for a mile or so before pulling me over. I was told that he gave me an opportunity to "slow down". At this time I had a baby in NICU at Vandy and once I showed him my bracelet he let me go with no warning or ticket. He never even ran my license though he did ask to see it.
