I should be sending out the gift cards today or Monday. There were only three requests, one of which had children. Since this year was down in both donations and request I took it upon myself to decide the results. I tried to mirror the amounts that our committee decided upon last year. Because of this the family with children will be receiving a $300 gift card to both Kroger and Wal-mart, while the other two will be getting a $200 gift card to Kroger. This leaves $1,755 to be sent to charity. I still need ideas on how y'all want the money split up for this. Should we send some to numerous charities or send it all to one?! If anyone feels that I have been unfair with these results please let me know by pm or posting here.

Final total is $2,755. I need to allow time for the funds to get from paypal to my bank account so I will not be accepting any more donations. I hope to have everything finalized by next Saturday. Thanks to all that took part this year.

No matter what the money will stay in the sate of Tennessee. Last year we gave $1,000 to Toys for Tots and this past spring we gave around $1,500 to Ronald Mcdonald House in Nashville. I would really like to see the money go to a smaller charity so we can see how our donations help. Sometimes when giving to big charities I feel like the money is just lost in a big pile somewhere. And westwindmike I will be getting in contact with you shortly.

total donations $2,125 Unfortunatly I've got around $3,500 worth of unexpected bills so my donation will be $100 instead of the 10% I mentioned earlier. This brings the total to $2,225. We only had 3 request for help so a large doantion will be sent to a charity. I would prefer if some of you decided which charity.

Thank you mav and you too USMCJG for adding to your donations. At this point it looks like a good sum will go to a charity again this year. What type of charity do you guys prefer? I personally prefer charities that help children but that's just my opinion.

Someone who received help from us last year has stepped up with a $200 donation this year. It really made me happy to know that we helped someone through a tough time and now they are "paying it forward". With my 10% match we now have $1,666.50. 2 weeks left for donations!! I have only received 3 request for help. If that doesn't change we may be sending some to a charity again this year.

All the more reason to give a little to help someone. This year has been the worst financially for me in as long as I can remember but I know there are others that are in much worse shape financially than me.

I wish!! I'm thinking more like 20-14. Bama hasn't played well since the Florida game. They changed their offensive plan and stopped focusing on running Ingram and Richardson.

Being a Bama fan living in Tn this is the biggest game of the year to me. Roll Tide!!
