  1. The latest info I received about this: Mr. Brooks I mentioned a Texas Hold-em poker tournament fundraiser before. We have a firm date of June 12th at 6pm at the Par-T-Pub in Maryville, TN if anyone you know is interested. It's $25 buy-in and there will be first, second and third place prizes. Tiffany
  2. Everytime we go to a creek that's about 2 miles from the house I catch some by hand. I have fished with them a few times with good luck but ususally just release them. My cousin and I got into a pretty good fight when we were kids because he killed some that I had caught at a local spring.
  3. I think Jay brought everything on himself but it was kind of funny when he kept out shooting some of the other guys/gals. I really think George was just trying to be comical with a lot of his comments....I found them funny.
  4. I agree. I thought George was funny except for the way he treated Jamie.
  5. +1 Estill is notorious for being a speed trap.
  6. Of course I do. I also slam on my brakes when they get back in behind me. All of you have proven a point that I was trying to make with all of my post in this thread. No matter who you ask, that person will say that they are an awesome driver and everyone else on the road is an idiot. Sure are a lot of accidents considering we are all such good drivers and follow the laws each and every time we get behind the wheel. I must admit that I do feel MUCH safer now that I realize all of you are on the road with me. Now get out of my way so I can get home.....
  7. This thread is entertainment at its finest.
  8. Trust me there is nothing anyone could say to me on the internet that would offend me. I actually agree with your comments about cutting out stress but my driving doesn't cause me stress. I do see that the person following might be stressed and that could lead to a case of road rage so maybe next time I will move over and give em a big ol' smile.
  9. I do understand what you're saying, by the way I have 3 children, but we will just have to agree to disagree. I'm not saying that what I do is the right thing to do and I don't do it "to prove a point" it's just the way I drive. If I feel that the person behind me is being unsafe I will move over the same way I will speed up and pass someone who may be driving unsafely in the right lane.
  10. Well I will stand by my statement about if someone is riding my rear. I will move over if I'm going below the standard traffic speeds but otherwise I pretty much stay in the left lane. I feel that is much safer than changing lanes 2 or 3 times a mile.
  11. This is the internet why would I be sarcastic......don't you know that everything you read here is the absolute 100% truth.
  12. Man, you really hurt me by hating on my team like that. I'm pretty sure it was an eastern kingsnake like this one:
  13. I promise he asked to hold it even though the look on his face suggest otherwise. He wouldn't even let me release the snake, he had to be the one who did it. You know every snake in Tennessee is either a rattlesnake, a copperhead, or a water moccasin and since this one doesn't have a rattle it must be one of the other two.
  14. For the snake lovers in the group here is a baby I caught today in my back yard. Measured right at a foot long. It's a kingsnake I believe. My 3 year old son just had to hold it.
  15. Not me......I'm usually driving to fast to read any signs
  16. Actually douche was meant for anyone trying to kiss my bumper, but you've me got on the bad driver part. I do tend not to follow some traffic laws.
  17. It's called I tend to drive way over the speed limit and if some "azzhat" wants to ride my ass he can either stay there or go around. I set the cruise at 85 or so on the interstate and if some douche is driving faster than that there is at least one other lane he can use.
  18. Typical response from a Cubs fan . I didn't realize the left lane was the "speed like hell or get run over" lane.
  19. I actually got pulled over one time because I was going to slow in the left lane. It was dark and a car flew up behind me and was riding my rear so I let off the gas and got down to about 35 in a 55 when the blue lights came on. He asked what my problem was and I told him people who rode my butt. I didn't even get a warning out of it. Funny thing is the right lane was open the whole time and I was doing the speed limit, probably faster than the limit knowing my driving style, when the whole thing began.
  20. It's easy to identify a poisonous snake....just get close enough to look at these areas.
  21. One of the organizations that TGO helped with the Christmas PIF sent me the following email today so I thought I would pass it on to see if anyone in the area would be interested. I find it comical that we are called "gun men" but I can let it slide for a good cause. The following is the email that was sent: Are any of your members Texas-Holdem poker players! We are doing a charity tournament in Maryville the end of June on a Sunday and thought maybe some "gun men" might like to toss some cards around. Just let me know. 22. Have someone camp out and catch them in the act and then scare the living out em. That won't help with clean up but should put a stop to future dumping.
  23. I'm in as well but I would like to have the option of buying a team shirt.
