Once again thanks for all the input. I decided...believe it or not to spring for the S&W 9c. Got it at Buds for 413.00. FFL 30 bux. Smith and Wesson has a $50 dollar rebate till mar 31 for military and retired military. Pretty good deal and couldn't pass this up.

Great input guys! Very informative. I can't help but wonder how many more people out there like me are looking for a compact EDC right now and cant decide. I received a PM about the M&P9C and that I should take a closer look at it too.... So off to the U tubes!!

I appreciate your offer 6.8 but its taken me a long time just to narrow it down to these 3.

My situation: I'm looking for my first carry weapon. I have watched so many U-Tubes and read so many different forums about the following guns that I'm no where nearer a decision than when I first started looking. I have narrowed my choices down to a PM9 - SR9C - Kimber Solo I realize the solo is hard to speak to because of its relative newness. Any thoughts, advice, or best yet, real life experiences with any of these would be appreciated. Especially if you have shot or compared any of these.

I'm wondering if this gun is too big too carry. If you do carry it what IWB holster would you recommend?

Seems that all the WM's here received shipment last night. I called all 4 and all 4 said they had INV on the truck and it would be out later that nite. Sure enough called back at about 9 and ran and picked up 2 boxes of winchester 40 cal . They had 8 boxes left and Blazer too.Going by another store this morning. We'll see how the stock depleted n 1 night. Oh one store I called asked what calibre because there are 2 guys been waiting here for 2 hours to see what comes off the truck. Times are tuff ;-(

New to the forum and soon to be new handgun owner and I was seeking advice from this knowledgeable crew. I'm looking to buy a handgun and am considering a S&W M&P40 Fixed Sights 4 1/4" NMS for $419 from Buds. Does this seem like a fairly decent price for this pistol. The reviews I have read seem to say yes. Any thoughts?
