Haha my first rifle was my dad's first rifle also - 22lr semi auto from Sears. Still have it too. Will go to my daughter one day.

I've never shot a banshee but I have two 9mm PCCs - one direct blowback and one gas piston. The direct blowback is an AK-V. And while recoil is not bad, it is more than I thought it would be even for a really heavy gun. My Sig MPX is significantly lighter and has a much nicer recoil which allows me to stay on target much easier. The difference is quite noticeable. I've heard great things about the Banshee also, so I'd go with it over any direct blowback.

I thought about the Ruger American but really want a wood stock.

I just renewed mine and opted for the $50/8yr option. For the lifetime option, do you have to keep resubmitting but there is just no fee each period?

Been wanting a 22wmr bolt action for some time. What do you guys think about the Savage B55 G, priced at $490? It has a walnut stock that i like and stainless barrel. What are the best options in this price range? Thanks!
