I’ve always used brass punches for factory steel sights but I agree a sight pusher would be better for aftermarket sights . Especially ones with Tritium or fiber optics.

This is true. There are some deep pocket collectors out there. I have a Finnish “ scope less “ sniper that I lucked into at a small gunshow. I’ve been offered a lot more than I paid for it.

Check pawn shops. Around here I see power tools all the time at great prices. Many almost new.

My brother has a roofing business that I work at on weekends and just about every power and pneumatic tool we use is Dewalt . Hard to beat them.

I got dibs on the “ Excellent condition “German Lugers @ $54.95.

Never had one but always admired them.

I miss the good old days and monthly fliers from places like AIM , SOG , CIA , Samco, and a few others.

Not a shop but I go here https://www.tmcaonline.org/ twice a year and usually go home with something cool. Talk to lots of interesting people and just have an overall good time. For lunch some buddies and I go to a local Indian buffet. Good times......

Yeah, I think I saw the same scenario on an old “Rockford Files” episode.

When I was a kid in Florida the whole family got together for canning day. Started before dawn. My uncle and two cousins would load up in his van and out to a field we went . Picked cucumbers and tomatoes. The rest of the day Grandmah, mom and three aunts cooked up sauces and stuff for pickles. It smelled so good. By evening they had jarred up plenty. The men grilled and us kids churned ice cream. Good memories.

They removed mine. Yeah, that worried me but so far so good.

I had the surgery done about 10 years ago. I think it was just a couple of little cuts made. Was back to work in a few days. I must have torn it a few years before and just put up with it. Waited till it kept me from sleeping and driving without pain till I did something about it. Never really bothered me while walking. It sure was nice being able to sleep again without the pain. So far so good, I expect some day I’ll have to have a bionic knee put in.
