I've been down to Shaffer's a couple of times. I also like to grill and BBQ myself and I want to get my pit set up here. I've heard good things about Eagle Eye and I'll check it out. We have Maury County Gun Club here and I will probably join to meet folks and do some shotgunning. I drove around Williamsport Lakes a month ago and it looks like a good lake fishing spot. I really enjoy fly fishing and hope to check out some TN rivers and streams this spring and summer. I like old school stuff like Mauser rifles, Superposed shotguns, 1911s and Hi-Power pistols. I have a couple of ARs for fun and defense but my heart is with good walnut and rust blue. I've been a reloader for 40 years and have really enjoyed the hobby. I don't really experiment like I used to. Nowadays it's one or two good accurate loads per rifle and I'm done. I load for: 250 Sav, 257 Roberts, 6.5X55, 270 Win, 7X57, 280 Rem, 300 Win Mag, 300 H&H, 338 Win Mag, 9.3X64, 375 H&H, 416 Rigby and 404 Jeffery. I'm happy to swap load data especially on the big bore stuff. A newer hobby for me is leathermaking. Been at it a few years and enjoy making belts, sheaths, holsters and other gun stuff. I'd like to get more equipment for this when we get finished on our house renovation and I'll have time and space to get set up. That's it for now. Thanks for the welcome. We love our Muletown!

Hello Gents and Ladies, we bought a home in Columbia and are moving up from Texas. I have historic family roots in Middle TN and look forward to making this our home. I'm interested in all types of hunting, fishing, shooting and reloading. I hope to meet some of you soon. ForrestB
