I'll take some of them primers off your hands! Yep, they have products where you can do custom sized bags. I have a cheaper Foodsaver I picked up from Kohls or Costco and it works fine. Haven't vacuum packed ammo but have done large bags of flour that are probably the same size as 500rds of 556. I bet you can do 500rds pretty easily, and 1000 if you don't mind a long bag.

This whole trial is a distraction. Pretty obviously should be an acquittal. If there isn't, it's because of reasons other than justice. Meanwhile, the real attention should be on what is the federal government doing during this time where everyone's attention is entirely focused on the trial. Encouraging more illegal immigration through Texas? Allowing more cartels to smuggle whatever they want in through the federally managed lands along the border? Pay attention to what China's doing in this time period as well. These big media circus shows are always a distraction from whatever is really happening that isn't getting all this media coverage.

That's great. If you haven't taken this class yet I highly encourage it. You learn a lot about the law and what happens if/when you need to protect yourself. Plus the permit is nice to be able to drive across state lines, fly somewhere else (and be able to legally bring your gun with you, checked in the luggage), etc.

Have you looked into flying and checking your firearm? I did that between TX and TN, no issue. Just have to let the counter person know you're checking a firearm during check in.
