  1. 75 days and counting, when they tell you 7-14 days I guess they mean it,I went and rattled the box and nothing dropped out.
  2. We sell remote batteries at the auto parts store,in comes a fella to replace his garage remote battery, well mission accomplished, out he goes back home.Comes back an hour later and says the new battery must be bad,his garage door still wont open, needless to say he didnt take into consideration the power was out in his neighborhood,Doooohh.
  3. I have a Crossbreed Supertuck and have a 3 inch Ultra Kimber and a 5 inch stainless Kimber and they both fit in this rig and both are reasonably comfy, although the full size is a lot heavier.Whats nice about this rig the clips are spaced wide apart which seems to equal the weight better,I have the horsehide option for the humid weather here in the Mempho area. They are not very pretty:drool: but they work well.
  4. same here its at the 72 day mark,I called last Tuesday and she told me 7-14 days.Still buzzarding the mailbox.hopefully it will be this week.
  5. I have the bullhide inch and a half, have worn it everyday for about 2 months, they are sturdy well made belts and look good too,I dont think a person would wear it out too quick, mine holds up a Crossbreed Supertuck with a Kimber Ultra in it daily, does great.
  6. I agree,I also had the same,wish I still had it.
  7. Nice family tree.
  8. +1 on the Supertuck,I also wear one for my Kimber Ultra CDP II,also Galcos Ankle Glove for my S&W Bodyguard, can wear this all day with no discomfort including Hogue Checkered Tulipwoog grips and still conceals real well.
  9. Really scary that this person gets behind the wheel of a 4 person carrying killing machine,I think they need special training before using these machines,OH WAIT THEY DO,ITS CALLED DRIVERS ED,or in her case drivers special ed.HHAARR:tinfoil:
  10. A big Hi from Lakeland, enjoy your stay.
  11. count me in,the whole twice a year we eat in anything but our own kitchen. better food, really good service and my door is posted,ONLY GUNS ALLOWED ON PREMISES.
  12. My sentiments exactly, its my money and I want it now.
  13. I was trying to purchase a set of Hogue grips and it even declined the sale for them. These after all are just an accessorie.
  14. Has anyone here recently tried to use a pay pal debit card to make a sporting goods purchase,I did yesterday at Range USA to buy a set of Hogue grips for my S&W 638 and pay pal would not allow me to make said purchase.I called pay pal today and the support person told me this has been a long standing rule of theirs because they cannot control what we buy so they say nill to the purchase, does anyone find this remarkably politically incorrect,I even asked the person that it also includes any type of accessories including grips and such, and she said YUP.I asked her how this can be and she informed me that all I had to do was go to a ATM and draw the cash out to make my puchase,at which point I made it blatantly evident that this is MY MONEY and how can they tell me where I can spend it.I for one think this is BALDERDASH,and as soon as possible I will be cancelling anything to do with PAY-PAL.I would appreciate any feed back possible and tell me your opinions on this matter.
  15. I guess I have a hard time understanding why .22 ammo is also in this hard to come by status,9 MM,.38 SPCL,.45 ACP,.40 S&W,all these I understand.
  16. A big welcome from a fella in Lakeland, hope you enjoy the forum, and thanks for your military service.
  17. I recently ordered and received a Crossbreed Supertuck and i think for myself its the most concealable and comfortable IWB holster a company makes.I have tried Galco,Desantis and the holster stores IWB holsters and for my body none of them fit right.I have worn the Supertuck for 4 straight days with no discomfort and it stays put,I am caryying a Kimber Ultra CDP II in .45 ACP at about 30 ounces loaded.
  18. Yessir actually I called this AM and the nice lady told me it was issued this morning,I have been waiting since Jan 29th.Give it a couple more weeks and call the Dept Of Safety.

  21. Everyone here was right,I called this morning 04/07/2009 9:11 A.M. and guess what, miraculously the nice lady said my permit was issued today,to give 7-14 days to arrive. My question to all of this is (WHATS THAT ABOUT).It is to me quite mystifying that it was issued this very morning and the last 67 days they did what, just sat on my app.In any event thanks to everyone for the idea.
  22. Yup Ima gonna givem a call allright. Thanks for the response all.
  23. I have read in some of the posts that you fellas have gotten your permit in 30-45 days,I am still waiting by the box,it has been 66 days and counting, just wondering what the average wait has been.
  24. Seems to be shortages everywhere,I just received 2 boxes of 38 .SPCL:woohoo: I ordered a month ago.
  25. Hello everyone, thought I would intro myself.I like being able to share similar interests in the shooting sports.I also am fairly new to the permit scene but I have quite e few years behind the trigger of several firearms,so I am not new to shooting by any means.Glad to be here and sure will try to share a few subjects.
