  1. I own a Stoeger Condor in a 20 gauge its an O/U,I have used it to shoot trap and its a pretty decent shooter,It has a manual ejector and 2 screw in chokes in modified and improved.I bought it new for under $400.00,they also make the 12 gauge for the same price.
  2. So Sorry,I got the model wrong,its a 742 Woodsmaster.
  3. I have a Remington 842 Woodsmaster with a new Nikon Prostaff 3X9X50 at a local gunshop on consignment asking $550.00 what would you fellas tell a person who called you and offered $250.00 for it,I kinda think its like a slap in the face, considering the scope that I have on it I paid $200.00 alone,is this kinda cheesy or am wrong to think so.Why would someone think a person would take less than half of what your asking, anyone have this type of offer come their way, just wondering??Opinions welcome this is not a for sale thread so I posted this in the long gun section.
  4. I'M so poor I cant afford to pay attention.
  5. I currently carry my G36 in this same holster, along with the Crossbreed the MTAC is also very nice, but I always revert to the Crossbreed, they are great.

I agree a person should start off knowing what the pistols use will be,carry, target shooting, competition, there are so many options and a person can spend from $400.00 all the way up to $5000.00 for a custom gun,so it would be a lot easier of a choice if you figure out what its going to be used for.
  7. I took my class in January, around the middle of the month, when I called it had already been 60 days,I had it within a week of calling. When I counted the days waited I was at 88,I received it 2 days from the 90,they are sure cranking the permits out a lot faster these days.
  8. Another howdy and welcome from the big city of Lakeland.
  9. How about a Crossbreed Mini Clip,The Supertucks are great.
  10. I was in a local Pawn Shop awhile back, getting a price on my then:D PT140,I told the gentleman behind the counter I had my permit and the pistol but the gun was in my holster loaded and did he want me to go out and unload before he looked at it,his response was that as long as you told me about it and are carefull unloading the weapon there was no need to go out and do that,so unloaded the pistol and went about our business. He was a real upstanding guy.
  11. I work at the one that says AutoZone on the sign,No really the one in Arlington.
  12. +1 for the Mtac and Crossbreed, when its IWB those 2 are a great holster, normally I wear a Crossbreed Supertuck with my G27,but when OWB I have a Desantis Mini Slide thats pretty comfortable and tucks the pistol into my side fairly well also. This holster is not too bad about the miles away feeling.
  13. Right now I am,but as soon as I put a cover shirt on I wont be,it seems as though I have been seeing a lot more holsters as of late than usual,I work at AutoZone and we have quite a few customers that come into the store both covered and uncovered, seems like when you pay attention you see a lot more than you think you would,I notice all of this since I got my permit.I guess a lot of people are right about the fact that we seem to be more alert than the general non seeing sheep.
  14. I always thought Red Don was a movie about a teed off mob boss.HHAAARRR:screwy:
  15. Noted and remembered, they are only going to take a statement.
  16. I use the Crossbreed for my G27 and it does cover the barrel,I use the standard 9 round mags with a Pearce Grip Ext,it just adds a place to rest your pinkie but doesnt add anymore round count.I had the MTAC for the Springfield XD and it also covered the pistol well, there also I was using the standard 10 round mag,but the XD was the Compact model.
  17. You cant go wrong purchasing the MTAC or the Supertuck,I have both and they work real well and are comfortable.
  18. I use a Desantis tuck This-II for a car holster,I leave it in the glove box for those instances when I need a quick holster,I leave a spare mag in the holster also,It works good for what I need it for,I carry it appendix style with 0 cant, able to stuff in the front when needed.I have it for my Glock G27.
  19. pretty soon the mail box buzzarding will start.Congrats,my youngest son started his buzzarding last week,he has already asked me what to do to make the wait shorter,I told him sleep a lot.

    HERA Arms?

Darn things look like they are right off Stargate SG1:tinfoil:
  21. Thats funny right there!!
  22. This one also came with the black grips, but I remarked to the dealer I liked the grips on a different Kimber in his case,He told me if I purchased the pistol today he would change the grips to the premium Kimber grips,I of course said OK,sold.2 Thumbs up for Classis Arms in Germantown.
  23. Wow,I was at Bass Pro Shops looking for another 1911 series pistol, primarily a Taurus PT1911 because I have one and really like it,but I wanted to leave my Wilson 22LR Conversion on this pistol,so I was looking for another one to use as a .45ACP range gun(call me weird,I have 1911itis).The bottom price on one that I wanted was $750.00(Wow for a Taurus)my other one was $619.00 a year ago.SOOOO I went to Classic Arms and Lo and Behold a Kimber TLE/RL II for $950.00 with Mepro Night Sights to boot,So guess what. So what do Ya guys think happened.
  24. +1 I also have the Heinie on my Taurus,at first I didn't like them, but the more you shoot with them the more I like them.I was considering also changing mine, but not any more.
  25. Nice Kimber, you have to watch it though, your right on the threshold of 1911-O-Mania-its a subtle disease,it kinda creeps on a person and before you know it-BAM-you have it,I know from experience, and the only cure known to mankind is to own more than 1.
