    Stoeger

I have a Stoeger Condor O/U in 20 gauge thats a great trap gun,its went off every time I pulled the trigger, and the quality seems to be pretty decent also.
  2. I started back reloading partly for the hobby end of it and secondly for the savings.I can put together 100 rounds of target ammo in .357 caliber thats pretty mild shooting and savings is quite a bit over factory ammo. Also reload for the .41 mag which if I could only shoot factory ammo would put me in the poor house in one range trip.I can put together 100 rounds for about $17.00,and cant even find target ammo for .41 mag.The last box of Remington Factory was $57.95 for 50 rounds, and thats if you can find it anywhere.
  3. Only one I have at present and its here to stay,Springfield Loaded in 9mm.
  4. Same here,I have installed Hogues on my 85SS,they fit great. The Taurus site calls these frames small. The compact fits their Tracker models.

    S&W 686 SSR

Very nice looking pistola,I'm kinda partial to revolvers myself.
  6. I had a Kimber TLE/RL II that looked the same,I just touched it up with G96 Cold Blue, looked like new afterwards.

    New toy.

Thats nice shiny new toy, congrats.I have a loaded in 9mm,its been great.
  8. I was in our local Walgreens this AM and there were no signs posted.
  9. I carry a Leek G10 when not at work, its a decent blade length and non serrated.Rather fast to deploy if you get one with the Speedsafe. They are a little pricey but I think they are worth the extra dime. These are the 3 that I have,Leek is the middle one,the other 2 are CRKT.Out of the 3 of them I like the Leek the best.
  10. I have reloaded the nickel casings in .38 and .357 mag with no problems and I use the Lee Carbide dies. The casings are a little more prone to cracking but they reload fine.Just keep an eye out for splits.
  11. I like the Kershaw line, the G10 is a nice one also. The handles on these are made to not slip easily.I carry the G10 Leek when not at work and the Kershaw Needs Work when at work. They are made with some great quality steel and as a bonus are made in the good old USA.
  12. Yup,if your a reloader its the way to go.There are several bullet casters that supply good quality projectiles for a reasonable price.I bought 500 Oregon Trail 215 grain LSWC for around $60.00.I figured for target ammo I have about $20.00 into 100.Thats pretty reasonable shooting for a big bore, and lots of fun also.
  13. I recently started reloading for my newest wheelgun and today had a chance to try it out.I started with 8.5 grains of Unique under Oregon Trail Laser Cast 215 grain LSWC,it seems like a decent loading, fairly accurate and not punishing to shoot. It sure is a lot of fun shooting the bigger thumpers.
  14. I have the Tracker M627 in the 4 inch barrel with porting and really like the pistol. Its very accurate and actually fun to shoot even with magnum loads.I think the porting really helps.I have a total of 3 Taurus revolvers all made in the last couple of years and have had zero problems from any of them.I would definetely buy them again and probably will pick another one up in a different caliber a ways down the road.heres my 3.
  15. I kinda did the big bore thing, but alas its only a Ruger Redhawk in .41 Magnum,Not a Smith but it will do.I say go for it,nothing beats a good revolver.:D
  16. I had a LLama .45ACP that would not cycle a full mag without a jamb, returned it to the factory, after several weeks of waiting I got it back in the same condition.this was 30 years ago and have not bought one since.
  17. Ditto for me,a Taurus 991 with not a misfire so far,and am even using the Winchester el-cheapo ammo from Wally World.
  18. Just logged in myself and all is working fine.
  19. The SP101's shoot really nice, they will hold together for a long while also.I switched from carrying semi-auto's to the Ruger awhile ago,not a bad decision I feel.Congrats on the 2 new shooters.
  20. Yup,they are a nice shotgun for the money,I have the 88 security version with the 18.5 inch barrel. I mounted a Lazerlyte add on tri rail so I can use my Streamlight on it.Congrats on the new security system,I hope you dont have to use it any time soon.
  21. Range USA and Guns And Ammo in Memphis also do lay away.
  22. A little reloading,A little cooking and A lot of loafing.
  23. Nice,2 are always better than 1.
  24. Very nice 1911 you have there.I like the all stainless look, very clean lines.
  25. Well, completed the night with no more further adventures. The feud between these 2 entities is not over,it was starting already about 4 days ago,we were out going for a walk and all these teens were in the middle of another street a block over shouting obsenities and calling out these other 2 young people. Its getting so a person cant even go for a simple stroll without the local theatrical events.I just wish people would grow up and act right,of coarse it makes me wonder where the parental units are at when this kinda behavior is present.I think the parents are the ones that need the smackdown.
