  1. I quit using Chrome recently also-I have been using Edge for the last couple of weeks and it has been working pretty decently-uses less processor time and memory also.
  2. 1/16 is a typical 22LR rifling twist-at least it is what my CMMG Sierra upper uses.Seems 45ACP also uses that twist-9MM is using 1/10 more universally. Kinda weird that they use the same twist for real light bullets and very heavy bullets.
  3. Another good brand that never seems to get mentioned is the Ruger AR556-right in your $500.00 range
  4. Evil dark brown rifle just doesn't ring right
  5. I used to work at an underground copper mine that at about 1000 foot underground when you turn your headlamp off it got black-now that's black
  6. We have used a heavy mixture of bleach and water-spray on with a garden sprayer and hose off. One nice thing about the bleach is it keeps whitening for awhile-we have white vinyl siding.

I have a Ruger New Model Vaquero Birdshead in .45ACP and I think it's a hoot-one of the most accurate pistol I have ever fired-and the proof was in the target. In .45ACP it is not bad as far as recoil goes but I have no first hand knowledge of the .45 Colt.
  8. Those are sure a couple of purdy guns-very nice
  9. I say put the #$@%&^@ and drive,I see quite a bit of abuse-so what is this driving thru an intersection while staring at a phone-see it all the time-idiots only do this.
  10. So-A bad boy or so he thought got his clock cleaned permanently-play stupid games win stupid prizes. I can't even feel remotely bad that the Marshall's did their job-he was no choir boy that's for sure.
  11. Ya-I guess your right ey
  12. Castle doctrine-he is in my home uninvited with a object in his hand that can kill you as dead as a pistol or rifle-he is going to the floor with some help.
  13. What kinda statement is that-I happen to have been a Yankee myself-20 years ago
  14. One thing I did forget to mention-the Savage has an adjustable trigger-mine is very light-in fact I think I should probably put my trigger gauge on it and find out just how light.
  15. I also am a fan of wood on a rifle-my 93fv savage came with a poly black stock that reminded me of one off a cap gun-so I did the Boyds and a steel trigger guard.
  16. Seems like that's a pretty good ball park price-I traded a Ruger GP100 even up for mine.
  17. I have a few Ruger Single Action pistols of which one is a early 70's Single Six-right before they started with the safety stuff-still a 3 screw
  18. Dangerous knife collection-looks like my kitchen counter on Thanksgiving afternoon trying to decide which dangerously dangerous turkey cutter to use-Geez-Really
  19. Thanks for thinking of my plight In all honesty I think I will hold on for awhile-I am 60 years old this year and have very little want for a major relocate considering we have one planned 5 years from now. Hopefully something in the part time line will come up and I can work about 20 hours a week. I really hoped I could get another 5 out of RUSA but that's not happening I think all my coworkers were as surprised as I was-it is a bummer for sure.
  20. Yup-I am one of the displaced employees-I started at Range USA almost 2 years ago and enjoyed my work there very much. I was the armorer which is going to be a hard job to replace.I got my Sig and Glock armorers certificate while I was employed also.
  21. I do think that there are a few gardening tools in the mix
  22. And it seems like there are less and less manufacturers that are actually bluing steel but spraying a cheesy coat of paint on them. One in particular are the finishes on the Beretta line of pistols-shiny kinda fake looking paint.
  23. The alloy frame will scuff and scratch fairly easy on the J-Frames-I guess it's just a fairly thin finish.
  24. Ummm-do you mean Tucker Gunleather
  25. Seems like one of the most efficient way of carrying a large revolver when hiking or other outdoor activities-I have a Galco Alaskan for my Ruger Single Actions that I really like
