  1. So here it has been 8 day's since I posted this rant and still my package is sitting in Indiana-where it hasn't moved since the 12th-slow is not the word I am thinking of-inept more comes to mind. And more fun to come I am sure.
  2. Used to be business in the firearms industry was slow all the time-the last 15 years have been anything but slow-now it's a matter of having something to sell-not finding customers to do the buying.
  3. Brad was kinda mechanically inept was he not?
  4. Reminds me of the secret spy sub machine gun by Mattel-If Its Mattel Its Swell
  5. My hometown has had a lot of new out of state residents move in over the last 10 years. When manufacturing jobs leave because the bunny huggers don't like paper mill smoke or ore mining is bad for the environment they like to shut you down. In moves what we used to call Flat Landers and ruin it for the local citizen's. My Son's FIL has owned family land for near 100 years-down at the end of the road-in move's the new guy at the other end near the highway and starts calling the local Sheriff's Office and complains about the other guy shooting and he can hear it. This continued for awhile until the Sheriff got sick of the calls and having to go out and check the commotion. The Sheriff finally told the new guy to either shut up or move back to Chicago-
  6. My Brother had a older model similar in year to yours. It also had the wood stock-which I came into possession of-which later took up residents on a new model plastic stock plain Jane sport model. The original new model now is a mix and match old and new-old model wood stock and reworked trigger group which is metal-shoots great. 10-22 Ruger is probably one of the most accessorized firearms ever made-next to a 1911 or AR15.
  7. I don't know about anyone else but I am completely sick and tired of this whole mess-and very frustrated that nothing appears to ever get better.
  8. In the last month-2 years NRA for wife-1 extra year for me. Upgraded my TGO membership to Lifetime Benefactor. Renewed GOA. Joined MSSA-not cheap.
  9. Some of these vendors give no choice of shipper-I would easily pay the extra to have it shipped Via Pony Express if given.
  10. Like my title says-just wondering how many people really started using USPS way more than they used to? I ordered a box of Berrys Bullets exactly 2 weeks ago and the package was scanned in at Provo Utah on the 30th of December and hasn't moved since. I ordered a new belt from Bigfoot last Wednesday and on Thursday it was scanned out of Fife Washington and hasn't moved since. Friday this last I ordered 4 pair of carpenter pants from Wal Mart which were sent VIA Fedex on Saturday and I received them yesterday. I don't know how anyone else feels or doesn't feel about USPS and their unprecedented surge in business but I am willing to bet Fedex has seen a surge also but copes with the surge much better. I find this excuse of Covid 19 to be a trend- when a business can't keep up we will blame it on a virus- And not only the fact of this I e-mailed Berrys and got the answer I really didn't want to hear"USPS told us not to call about lost mail until it has been missing for a month"end quote. I am barking up the wrong tree but this is unacceptable-IMOP-rant off
  11. I have 2 friends who have been on the MPD force-1 is still there and the other fella quit when he was stabbed in his first year on the force. But both of them thought pretty highly of their management and co-officer's. My one friend has had some good stories about being on patrol-some stories actually makes a person question just how many folks out there are very unstable.
  12. All mine I have used Remington 7 1/2 Bench Rest-not magnum.
  13. Thanks-I think I would wait till it's at least an inch and a half-but good point about people calling with something that's not an actual 911 problem. I assume you work for dispatch of a 911 call center-I bet you have some great stories.
  14. I got the tail end of the festivities-I thought I should probably turn them in for not wearing masks and social distancing!!
  15. No-like I said-these fellas all had on blue jeans or such-some long hair hippy style some short hair. All plate carriers or such were different-no official looking outer wear. I have seen my fair share of Law Enforcement-too add from my binoculars I could see what looked like gold colored badges hanging off some of their clothes-but sure didn't look official. When your spidey sense tingles you learn to listen. Apparently I started viewing at the culmination of the drug bust or whatever was going down and had not noticed the origins of the starting point. According to my wife who works as a Lease Consultant that's exactly what their under cover police look like when they do drug busts on their property. I have to say it gave me a bit of a start considering I watch my 6 year old granddaughter every day and she was asking what's up Gramps.

  17. So-I was a short time ago looking out my front door and noticed several men in one of my neighbors yards-all heavily armed wearing drop leg holsters-plate carriers-holsters were armed all with handguns-wearing Sheriff on their backs-but not a one looked to be official law enforcement. I guess I am a little set back as what to do-had to be 8 to 10 men-all leaving in 3 SUV's. These guy's did not look like law enforcement by any means. This was at 4:30 PM on Friday the 8th
  18. I am definitely not giving up or in-I think I am going to concentrate more on local politics where a person is able to make more of a difference. But still support the different 2nd Amendment Association's-
  19. This is the very gist of a conversation with my son this very morning-100% agree. We have listened to Democrat's threaten our Constitutional rights for more years than I can remember-many It gets downright sickening to even hear these anti's spout their anti American vitriol.
  20. Even the bigger air compressors like 8 or 10 gallon are very reasonable-most are running in the $80.00 to $100.00 range.
  21. Why would I need a toilet that recognizes my butt-mine already does-been using it for the better part of 20 years now and I assume it knows me by now.
  22. Until I was the ripe old age of 18 I lived less than 1/4 mile from Lake Superior and used to see some very odd stuff over that lake at times-things going faster than a air force jet-which we had plenty of also. KI Sawyer used to run drills over Lake Superior all the time.
  23. I am a member recently joined and have a question-were you shooting on the action pistol range and if so how would I also have the ability to shoot at steel.
  24. Remember-Just fire off 2 rounds into the air off your back porch-thatll scarem
  25. I just checked mine also and zero movement up-just the same old down-drats!
