  8. Sorry, but i am confused. What race is Islam? Please do read my original post To summarize my position in a few sentences : I support the right to build the mosque I am deeply concerned about the political ideology of Islam and the global organized effort to expand Islamic law (shariah) into western law and to replace western values of modernity, acceptance if other lifestyles ans religions and equality with strict sharia based values of misogyny, barbarism and subjugation of all that it not Islamic ( kafir status)
  9. Maybe his surviving fathers words will have to be a substitute http://online.wsj.com/article/SB123362422088941893.html
  10. PS: here is an excellent article : http://pjmedia.com/blog/educating-conservatives-about-sharia’s-threat/?singlepage=true
  11. The problem in this discussion is folks confusing the VEry American concept of assimilation, freedom of religion for all and the notion that religion can come in a variety of flavors (think of all the different Christian sects that are out there) There is only one Islam. there are Sunnis and Shias and a few other variants, but there is ultimately only one Islam. Only in American can one even think about being "partly" Islamic. This progressive idea is alien to the rest of the world and represents the true clash of modernity and Islam -a battle we'll be seeing waged for years to come unfortunately. So when an imam is trained at Al Azhsr , this is like the Harvard of Islamic schools. You cant pretend he must be a moderate. The concept of radical islam being the oddball belief is completely an American concept. It's a false idea. Do your research and don't take your values and assume others share them. I say all this while ALSO firmly believing that the building permits must be handled in a fair fashion. We can't abandon our principles. At the same time, we can't be blind to real danger.
  12. +1 for grafs. Send them your c&r and you get to buy at the dealer prices
  13. This is why this should be handled by a third pasty who can manage their staffing to meet the demand. The $200 tax is a self funding mechanism.
  14. That's interesting - what's the difference in a TICS check and the NFA FBI background check?
  15. I've got a nice mossy 500 with extras for sale on the tradwr
  16. I've got a nice mossberg for sale on the trader
  17. +1 If they're willing to take your can out it makes you wonder who else's stuff they're playing with
  18. Finally shot the Ppsh this weekend. Really nice point of aim at 100 yds. Shoots high at 25 yds - needed a low 6 o clock hold. Total fun ripping through a 35 round mag!
  19. Any chance you can post up a list of items before Friday would be great. The pics are nice but would hate to make the trip and only wind up with 2 things.
  20. You miss my point - the ATF is deliberately not staffing up to meet the demand - thus they are responsible for the delays. It's quite curious that 6 months is the magic number but it can easily be made faster with more staff. Let's be honest - you don't need to be a highly paid and trained gov employer to a background check and stick a stamp in a paper- TICS does it for $10 in minutes
  21. I wasn't going to say anything but that comment pushed my buttons. The government works for you and me- they do not exist for us to be servile. The $200 stamp was designed to make these Nfa weapons so cost prohibitive that they would not be accessible to the average person. This tax was needed because they could not just prohibit the weapons outright due to the 2nd amendment. As inflation marches along the cost impact of $200 is surely lessened, but I should not be "happy" that it was never increased by the beneficient government. I understand the notion of "let sleeping dogs lie" but that doesn't mean I have to be happy about deliberately poor government service
