1. Pmags hadn't been 10-12 for several years...
 2. Thanks David. That line break thing was seriously annoying I agree with bigk. It's an app that truly enables my ability to follow sites like TGO on a much more frequent basis than if I had to sit I front of a pc
 3. Let's be honest - these are guns that by design allow for a lot of slop in their operating tolerances. About the only things that can go wrong from a builder and the Reasons are listed below: Canted sights due to poor attention paid during the build. Easy to spot. Bad headspacing - again a build issue Poor finish work (paint, guncote etc). Easy to spot Wobbly mag (using low quality receiver). Easy to spot Rough racking (poor quality receiver, poor rail installation, no lubrication). Easy to spot Other than these things I can't think of anything that could actually go wrong with an ak after buying it that would necessitate a warranty of any kind. Their internals are built solidly and replacement parts are easily and cheaply obtainable should some bizarre accident befall your gun.
 4. What the hell is going on with tapatalk!
 5. Here is a copy of an email I sent to the TFA John, I am writing to inform you of an egregious violation of my right to travel by the TSA at multiple airports thought the country. I travel by air very frequently for business and have in the past been able to use my Tennessee Handgun Carry permit as acceptable identification for the TSA airport security checkpoints. In the past month I have been informed that the handgun permit is no longer an acceptable form of identification. This is in contradiction to TSA's own published policy (link below) and also would seem be in violation of Tennessee's sovereign rights to publish identification cards for its citizens and expect to have them recognized by the Federal government. I've had this experience at multiple airports and each TSA agent refers to a policy change regarding acceptable forms of ID. If one were conspiracy minded, you could conclude that this is a petty effort to harass and delegitimize HCP holders as part of the Obama administration's ongoing war against gun owners. I would welcome your guidance on how to proceed with obtaining action from our elected officials on this matter. Regards, Mr Hershmeister http://www.tsa.gov/traveler-information/acceptable-ids Text: Identity Matters Adult passengers (18 and over) are required to show a U.S. federal or state-issued photo ID in order to be allowed to go through the checkpoint and onto their flight. We understand passengers occasionally arrive at the airport without an ID, due to lost items or inadvertently leaving them at home. Not having an ID, does not necessarily mean a passenger won't be allowed to fly. If passengers are willing to provide additional information, we have other means of substantiating someone's identity, like using publicly available databases. Passengers who are cleared through this process may be subject to additional screening. Passengers whose identity cannot be verified by TSA may not be allowed to enter the screening checkpoint or onto an airplane. Acceptable IDs include: U.S. passport U.S. passport card DHS "Trusted Traveler" cards (Global Entry, NEXUS, SENTRI, FAST) U.S. Military ID (active duty or retired military and their dependents, and DOD civilians) Permanent Resident Card Border Crossing Card DHS-designated enhanced driver's license Drivers Licenses or other state photo identity cards issued by Department of Motor Vehicles (or equivalent) Native American Tribal Photo ID An airline or airport-issued ID (if issued under a TSA-approved security plan) A foreign government-issued passport Canadian provincial driver's license or Indian and Northern Affairs Canada (INAC) card Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) Non-US/Canadian citizens are not required to carry their passports if they have documents issued by the U.S. government such as Permanent Resident Cards. Those who do not should be carrying their passports while visiting the U.S. This standardization of the list of accepted documents better aligns TSA with other DHS components, including Customs and Border Protection, and REAL ID benchmarks. Latest revision: 16 December 2012
 6. I have experienced this same issue. I fly often and have experienced varying levels of support to this new "rule"

On principle I use my HCP. It is valid state issued ID. It has my picture, address and DOB and even my TN DL#. Frankly I think it's in direct violation of the TSA's own rules and I just don't appreciate the security theater. They look at me, look at my picture and shine a black light on the ID to see the hidden marks. Thats it. The reality is they'd let you through with a library card
 7. Be sure to grab some weller 12 if you find it - outstanding bourbon from the van winkle folks. About as close to pappy you can get for a price that's reasonable - around $30-35 a bottle around here

8. Independence ammo is reloaded ammo
 9. I finally shot mine on Friday - just like the 238 - sweet gun.

I don't know why but on all sigs I have to hold the front side up slightly above the rear sights to be on target. It's this way on my 226 and 238. I'm sure it's my technique but have no idea why
 10. Anyone who wants to buy one of mine is welcome to a test shoot - using your ammo of course or paying for mine ;)
 11. Don't rely on email to store docs on a iPhone. The buffer will not retain downloads for very long. Better to save them into iBooks or Dropbox or evernote.

What is the consensus on a solar charger?
 12. Seems like I have some Catching up to do to keep up with cartel!
 13. Congrats for joining the stg 22 club. It's a super nice replica. PM me if you need extra mags. I have a small supply - they only sell the dang rifle with one mag.
 14. If a buyer has no HCP and won't sign a BOS and let me make a copy of their DL I don't buy. Period end of story. If it costs me a deal then so be it.
 15. I called the PD and they have officially moved it to may 4. It's on my calendar.

If too many of us show up it might turn into an impromptu auction- lol
 16. It has a new home. But I do have a killer maadi Sidefolder up for sale.

After a long love affair with underfolders; I must say the Sidefolder kicks its ass.
 17. And then I told her, "Jihad?. I thought you asked "how hard". Nyuck nyuck nyuck.
 18. I would highly recommend watching the tv series "Adoption" that hallmark had on about 8 years ago. Was very helpful to my wife and I as it gave you a sense of the many types of adoptions that are available and it didn't flinch from showing the good/bad parts. International, domestic, foster etc. it's all here. Mostly good of course though. Some changes I'm sure have occurred in some of the legal and paperwork processes since these were produced.

Warning - keep a box of Kleenex handy

Episodes online here:

http://www.hallmarkchannel.com/Adoption/Home

19. PS: depending on the type of adoption, it is quite likely that YOU will hire the agent to perform the home study. So while their report will go the state, you will have the opportunity to ask questions like this prior to selecting the social worker. Their biggest concerns are you're not going to make the kid a sex slave, cause them bodily harm or raise them in a meth lab. All of which will come back to put them in the news in a bad way,
 20. Yes - your home study will be an analysis of the safety of your home - think basic childproofing. Just have your firearms and ammo stores safely where kiddies can't get into them and you'll be GTG. Oh and take down that Dillon calendar :)
 21. What time will this start? Might be interesting to go fishing
 22. Panic buying will end January 21 2017
