  1. Right now, it's the people lined up waiting to pay $2,000.... hopefully that will slow down, and prices will come down a bit. I doubt it
  2. Things you should never buy.... Half price surgery or legal advice
  3. It's a very nice rifle - well balanced and very ergonomic.
  4. Wow ... Just wow....
  5. I do have access to natural gas, so was thinking of dual fuel if geo was a no-go Would love advice on what to consider in terms of selecting units - the seer thing is all Greek to me
  6. Got to love how .gov screws up markets at taxpayer expense....
  7. Are you all factoring in the 30% tax credit to land in the 15 year payback period?
  8. Getting ready to build our home and considering out HVAC options. Geo is interesting but is very pricey. Why kind of payback period should I expect from the lower costs of monthly electric bills. And what about reliability of the systems? What would repairs/replacement look like vs standar heat pumps/ gas furnace?
  9. Ranks right up there with the "passion of the toys" http://www.canadafreepress.com/2006/slublog081106.htm
  10. The big question to answer is : Where will you generate profits? I think there is a business opportunity in the "Prepper" space, but I also don't see it as a long term business, as it is more if a trend from a general public perapective IMHO. Retailing is one option, but requires a physical storefront, staffing, and inventory. All of these are fixed costs in the short run Consulting/Services require leas overhead (only need a location) and could be profit centers, but require marketing to bring in paying clients. So do you offer the services for free to build the retail base, or do you skip the retailing altogether and become the "go to" guy in local Media and guide folks on how to get their house "prepared" You could charge like an interior designer - they don't stock inventory, or if so, very little. You could build plans for backup water, power, food and safety. And by not retailing you simply ask -- what's your budget - and then build a plan and profit margin off that.
  11. So hoarding is about intent? Hilarious I predict the shortage to last well into next spring. The good news is that high demand and high prices encourage new entrants to the market which will increase supply and ultimately lower prices. I'm surprised that we've not yet seen a bunch of new reloading manufacturers so I assume components have not yet caught up with demand yet either.
  12. Run And don't look back!
  13. What a bunch of Debbie Downers!
  14. Finally a use for the air sickness bags!
  15. Actually I meant something completely different:
  16. Not that there's anything wrong with that ;)
  17. Shoot it with the bayo attached. It was meant to be fired this way - and your sights will be on target this way - otherwise you'll be off the mark and need to adjust the front sight
  18. It is curious that this made the news - why would any PD release a dashcam video of a traffic stop where a warning is given. Is this type of video FOIA eligible? Either the officers blabbing with his buddies wound up leaking out an a media organization and a FOIA was issues or someone at that PD doesn't like GZ and wanted to make his truck ID available to the public Thoughts ?
  19. I like the propper pants - generous in the seat, thigh and crotch. Anyone know of other brands with a similar forgiving fit?
