  1. Cleaning his gun my a$$. He was playing with his new gun. Dumba$$ should have known he could have put someone's eye out.
  2. Cool - CMT is a great company and makes A quality receiver. This might be my excuse to make an AR SBR. Count me in
  3. Not Prepper related but i am quite fond of the incredible real life survival story of Sir Ernest Shackleon Endurance: Shackleton's Incredible Voyage This is an excellent book which draws from the diaries/interviews/memoirs of shackleton and his crew Or read his self written book "South" which is quite good but doesn't reveal some of the conflict as he was a gentleman and silent in his opinions Of those he didn't like. If you get into the shackelton story then you need to read Shackeltons Forgotten Men which I found to be an even more incredible story of loyalty and perseverance than even Shackletons.
  4. With Jesse about to set fire to the White's home, (which must not happen since in the flash forward season opener we saw Walt returning to his fenced off fully standing home), is say that Hank may go rogue/vigilante on Walt. He's had his livelihood threatened. And who knows exactly what's going to happen with the showdown with Jesse - other than I bet it ends poorly for Jesse
  5. Wilson county sheriff dpt recently got one of these as well
  6. Sign on left side of road at main entrance with all the rules sez no guns. The wilson county fair is one of the best places to be - come on down today and enjoy the last day! Be sure to see the gallinippers perform by the civil war encampment at 7 and 830 tonite.
  7. Finally justice for us shirtless and shoeless people!
  8. If you do it at night, set up a decoy flashlight and don't have one by you. The insects will be drawn to the light and give you a little extra time to evade
  9. I'm even more old school - board war games (Avalon Hill type)
  10. The most he should get in a settlement is 50 lashes with a wet noodle for being such a doofus.
  11. He should have called Saul http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YPR9ORpwBEU
  12. Runs on grass and the occasional carrot
  13. I'm riding the mule in the farm next door ;)
  14. Why does that bother you? It's probably the best summary if his silly escapade I listened to the audio (thanks Garufa) and its clear the the police were scared there was a north Hollywood shooting or other active shooter event about to happen. Add Mr Embody's refusal to say anything (his right of course) the police were left with a situation of a man walking around downtown nashville wearing body armor and carrying a case shaped like a rifle. What would mr embody like the police to do next time they see someone like him? It perhaps a man wearing a ski mask holding a cloth bag walking out of a bank?
  15. Out of curiosity, how is it legal for local or state LEO to enforce Federal NFA laws? Isn't this similar to the argument that the SCOTUS recently ruled against Arizona for enforcing Federal immigration law?
  16. Come on down to Lebanon!
  17. Surely this is incorrect. Since its illegal to shoot people and illegal for minors to posses handguns. Surely we need another law....
  18. Buy a Tavor and then you can use standard ar mags.
  19. Holy cow that's an insulting article to the people if TN! “We’re United States senators,” he said. “We’re supposed to go sell. We’re supposed to go inform.”
  20. I've read the book and had the fortune of seeing Marcus speak at a conference. He is one incredible force of nature
  21. Here's an article which you may find enlightening about the Prepper business opportunities : Industries Making the Most Money on Doomsday Preppers 24/7 Wall St. As many as 3.7 million Americans are classified as preppers or survivalists. Being a “doomsday prepper” is not easy — or cheap. http://247wallst.com/special-report/2013/08/19/industries-making-the-most-money-on-doomsday-preppers/
  22. Did you see the Republican booth and did it say " We don't want you to have healthcare"? Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk No it did not - nor did it say we don't care, or, we care less or frankly anything about caring. It did have lots if literature about the Constitution though.
  23. Finally took my tavor to gallatin today and so did another member! Really nice rifle - easy to shoot offhand and still nail 100yard targets. The trigger is a standard military 2 stage trigger - first stage - pick up the slack to tension point and them boom on second stage. It's not a superstar trigger but its more than adequate for the job
  24. All I know is the sign at the Democrat booth at the Wilson County fair proudly states that "We're Democrats because we care". Since when did caring become the essence of governing - which is fundamentally the notion of equal justice under the law.
