1. I have two crappy revolver frames i picked up at an auction - would love to dump them - err, i mean trade them in as a gun buy back. They are very dangerous - if someone tried to shoot one the bullet would fall out onto their big toe
 2.
Just had the meteorologist on a local channel warn people about flooding. He wanted to remind everyone that because car tires are filled with air your car will float away if the water is too deep. I kind of chuckled. I guess it might if you are in a monster truck. It is going to be a long night for me. I am bordered by trees on the back side of my house so winds are always a worry.
Holy cow, thats some dangerous advice
 3. True - i'm running a Meprolight 21reflect sight on mine, so i'm only focused really on targets 100yds and less. am going to pull the extra trigger spring and see what thats like
 4. Chip - i hear what you're saying regarding " loser pays" being chilling to bringing cases. At the same time, i have seen and been involved in civil litigation that both takes inordinately long time and at high cost to bring to conclusion. Even though the court ruled favorably to me, the cost to win is often not worth the cost to fight the battle. Its sad that often being right comes at such a cost that often one is better off being wronged.
 5. Maybe i am weird but i have no issue with the stock trigger
 6. Not disgruntled? Someone was gruntled here for sure
 7. Holy schnikes! Thats crazy
 8.
Off to buy some milk, bread and eggs incase it is really, really bad this time. :)
Its french toast time!
 9. That video is silly - any semi auto will not work properly if you limp wrist it. And i have no idea how the guy broke part of the gun while cleaning it. I own botha 238 and 938. I love the single action trigger and firm positive safety. I carry locked and cocked - as the design is intended. The 238 is super easy shooter and the 938 is a bit peppier, but still a much nicer pistol han say a ruger LCP which i quickly sold as i just didnt like the heavy trigger. I'm in wilson county and would be happy to work out a meet if you wanted to do a test firing to see if you like them. And no, mine are not for sale :)
 10.
Very nice modification. I have been looking at the TAVOR. I passed on one in FDE for $1590 new this past week. The prices are coming down on them. I have a MSAR and it has been a great rifle. Love the bull pup concept.
Where did u see that price - got a buddy looking
 11.
I caught up w David and Ken Arnold picked up an ace skeleton stock and chamber flags and boogied to the range. Saw a tavor for 1600 and a sig 716 for 1860 also saw a keltec shotgun for 800...and..... ZAP woman snapping away Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2 of course it ate my spelling.
Were those table prices or private sellers? Thats a nice price on the tavor and ksg!
 12.
I store all my whiskey at room temp, but actually prefer it chilled so I use mine quite often. Another good item to acquire for the whiskey aficionado are some of these... http://www.amazon.com/Franmara-Private-Preserve-Preservation-Spray/dp/B001AS4NCM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1398645996&sr=8-1&keywords=private+preserve+wine+preserver I keep several bottles of whiskey on hand at a time, so sometimes it may take a few months to drink a whole bottle. That stuff does a great job of killing all the oxygen in the bottle before you close it back up. Especially when a bottle gets way down to 1/4 or so left, the oxygen in there really starts to deteriorate the whiskey. The preservation spray will make a 1-2 month old bottle of opened whiskey taste just like the day you opened it if you use it every time you pour.
Thats interesting - i actually think bourbon gets better as the level drops in the bottle and it gets some air
 13.
I didn't hear about this buy back until a few minutes ago when I read a post on another forum. Someone said he others went to this gun buy back today, and were told by local police that the ATF would arrest them for buying guns that were originally headed to the buy back program. Any TGO members stop by there today?
.GOV hates competition
 14.
Just google "criminal sues victim and wins", then start reading. The other problem of course is, even if the criminal loses the case, the victim has to spend thousands of dollars defending themselves. In effect, the victim loses twice, even when the case against them is dropped or unsuccessful.
Aint the civil tort system great? We seriously need "loser pays" laws
 15. Nice swede - they are the best mausers around! Let us know if you don't plan on keeping any :)

 19.
Are they not liable now? Should be the way I see it!
You can for certain file a civil suit. The "problem" would be its the property owner's right to decide to prohibit firearms perhaps the way to win against this would be to demonstrate that the property owner knew or contributed to the danger?
 20.
Alright, I got what I want. I found a Ruger SP101 in .357 magnum with a 3" barrel used (barely) for just over $400 at Nashville Armory. I just started paying on it so it'll be a little while before I have it, but for all intents and purposes it's MINE! Thanks for all your input!
Great price!
 21. An AK 47 or 74 will meet both requirements - fun, cheap to shoot and effective
 22.
No, but with the butt of the pistol protruding I imagine it resembled one of those big hamburgers you get at Chili's.Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
A reverse cameltoe?
 23.
Is it bad that don't really trust any of my friends to hold that barrel for almost a year? It's really not that they will "lose" it or anything. It's just that they'll forget it's mine then use it on their own build. Or sell it, or something like that.
Yes, thats bad
