1. That opinion is awesome. Total smackdown. Read the whole thing here. Pages 15-17 are the sweet spot http://alangura.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/DCT_OPINION.pdf
 2. Two words..... FACTORY STORE!
 3. Who ARE these people?
 4. I would think a business model that could work for a LGS is to leverage the e-commerce and FFL requirement by owning the transfer business. With the internet offering unlimited selection, why be the showroom for someone else's sale. Become the showroom for the net, reduce your inventory costs of guns and focus on items like ammo and accessories while informing the public on their internet options. Lots of folks have no idea they can "order a gun". And if the transfer fee is less than the tax on the gun, its a win-win
 5. No one has considered just disconnecting the battery to his chair and immobilizing him 😎

Couldn't beat an AK for $482 shipped with 12 magazines. Honestly I have wanted it for a while but I finally took the plunge.
At that price you cant go wrong

They don't understand economics or gun aficionados (duh). or...maybe they do. Too confused & sleepy to speculate.
He's no idiot - he likes to pauper his political enemies. And he gets to throw a bone to his anti gun constituents

 10.
I would have called the cops, but I wouldn't have shot the guy. Would be nice to see some tourons spend the night in jail for their dumbarsery. I've witnessed a group drag their KIDS across 441 in Pigeon Forge causing traffic in every lane to slam on their brakes. No, not at a light or even a crosswalk. I regret not stopping in the median and calling the PD for putting their children in danger. I hate that place and I despise tourons.
The draw of fudge, t shirts and pancakes Is irresistable
 11.
Being in the fridge repair business for a long time I will take a chest freezer over a uprite any day of the week. less operating parts food lasts longer due to no defrost/heat let into the insides. when the door is open the cold stays in. Freezers put out less heat as a rule of thumb because they are opened less & will never put out more than a fridge. whirlpool would be my first pick. milk crates in a chest freezer makes it simple to keep stuff sorted out, less $ to run due no defrost . About 1.2 amps on the compressor on either type. 4-5 amps of defrost every 12 hrs of run time on frost free models. I like simple so stay away from electronics if you can, surge protectors when you cant
I disagree - the chest freezers will develop frost build up over time. my upright fridgedair has never had any and has no defrost mode. It holds at -10 degrees in an unheated garage. The milk crates are a good idea for a chest, but its still a PITA to have to dig then out and sort thru vs just reach in. But they are way cheaper - thats for sure
 12. Who knew these protech could also double as diabetes blood test check sticks

 15. Supply and demand. Nothing mysterious here. Whats amazing is they had a 40% staffing increase to handle the extra production. Wow! Now its back to regular business.
 16.
the .gov doesn't care what we think or want.
This times infinity! These white house petition are simply a propaganda tool for obama to wave around to show support for idea he agrees with and to ignore otherwise. The only petition that matters is your vote on election day
 17. One ot Two toppings is the best approach with fresh garlic as the bonus topping. My fav is sliced meatballs and garlic at mellow mushroom Or pepperoni at Sals

 22. I was a founding member at Five Oaks in Lebanon, but found I played less and less as the kids got older, and i got into guns, so i discontinued the membership a couple years ago. Its a great course - I miss taking my daughters out for a couple of holes in the afternoon, but its impossible to justify the cost.
 23.
The bottom line for me is pretty simple. I feel I will have to work until the day that I die regardless of what someone else thinks. My house is not worth what I paid for it 9 years ago, my 401K has survived 3 recessions in 7 years, I make less than I did 10 years ago, and my current pay raises don't keep up with my increase in medical insurance much less the cost of living. I'm screwed, but so are a lot of other people.
QFT!!
 24. Upright all the way. Chest freezers are cheaper, but difficult to keep things organized
