You continue to focus on the taxation piece - give that a rest - we likely agree on much of that issue - however focus on the need for laws and enforcement thereof. Anarchy cannot deliver on that. Frankly your argumentation reminds me of Anjem Chaudry who when confronted with the evils of radical islam and shariah law in contries like saudi arabia, he replies by saying that they are not implenting it correctly - and then conveniently ducks shedding any light on what that might looks like - because he answer is of course tyranny.

You are ducking my question yet again - this time with a question
Pretty much just described every government to ever exist.
No a it describes every place in history where more than one HUMAN ever existed. Or if you prefer a religious reference - see the entire bool of genesis - from cain and able, to joseph and his jealous brothers. To Isaac and easu, to noah, to soddom and gomorrah, to the tower of babel. Your problem is you don't see the issue as a human foible but rather a problem of having a government.

PS: and as proof of my point and to bring this post back On topic, consider the ISIS crew - they are not at all interested in your live and let live approach - whats your plan to deal with them and their ilk?
Not intentionally. To be honest, I didn't really read the second paragraph. My eyes kinda glazed over after the "oh noes! Anarchy!" first paragraph. Not to insult or slight you, just a failing of mine. The Higgs quote is my response to that first paragraph. To your second paragraph, that question was very well answered by Ted. The market is very good at providing things people actually want and need, not what some folks in legislative halls think everyone else should have.
It all sounds great until you get that one guy who decides he wants to steal stuff, kill, rape or rule the freedom loving anarchist society. Or worse, he gets together with some like minded fellows a Then you're screwed. I understand what you are sayung about the danger of the state- and i am an Ayn Rand libertarian all the way. I do also see the value of ordered liberty as our founders originally intended - and i see it as Dar superior to pure anarachy. You may be the most benevolent and non-violent anarchist, but you can't guarantee everyone would share your philosophy in this new world you are advocating.
"Anarchists did not try to carry out genocide against the Armenians in Turkey; they did not deliberately starve millions of Ukrainians; they did not create a system of death camps to kill Jews, gypsies, and Slavs in Europe; they did not fire-bomb scores of large German and Japanese cities and drop nuclear bombs on two of them; they did not carry out a ‘Great Leap Forward’ that killed scores of millions of Chinese; they did not attempt to kill everybody with any appreciable education in Cambodia; they did not launch one aggressive war after another; they did not implement trade sanctions that killed perhaps 500,000 Iraqi children. In debates between anarchists and statists, the burden of proof clearly should rest on those who place their trust in the state. Anarchy’s mayhem is wholly conjectural; the state’s mayhem is undeniably, factually horrendous." Robert Higgs
You ducked my question
When you enable, install and support murderers, you are responsible for their actions. How many murderous regimes did the US support over the 20th century because it served our foreign policy goals? I mean they were savage bastards but they were our savage bastards and not the Soviets', right?I think the fundamental point where we disagree is that I don't make distinctions amongst state actors by degrees of evil they commit. One evil or one million evils still makes the actor evil. Simply put, I view the very existence of the state as the greatest evil present on this earth second only to Satan himself.
And the problem of course is without some form of government, you get anarchy which also presents the very problem of your second evil. So the conclusion is evil exists in the world, and man is corruptable - so now what? I will call you utopian in these sense that your ideals are fine, but nowhere to be found in this world. So that said, how exactly so you think man should organize himself to ensure rule of law, the creation and enforcement of law, and various public goods (ie roads, sewers, etc)

I have my eye on a used backpack blower - and the price is half of retail -
NRA museum is amazing Definetly call your congressman to get a scheduled appointment of the Capitol, Acess to the house gallery, White house tours and the bureau of engraving and printing - its a brief tour and cool to watch. Its on the same street as the Holocaust museum which is a must visit. Get tix in advance - it stays busy. If you have small kids or less time, you can just go in without a ticket and see the childrens display in the ground floor which is excellent and age appropriate. Be sure to visit the Jefferson memorial - many people skip it since its a little off the Mall Also if you are driving to DC, take the time to visit Monticello, Colonial Williamsburg and if you have extra time, Madisons home. Also visit Mt Vernon. Washington metro is easy to use. Alexandria is nice.
I don't have an issue with body art. I was in the Navy. Went in art free and came out art free. Folks say I am weird because every sailor should have one. I said then I broke the mold. I had a room mate for several years that spent a small fortune on body art. He was having a tat of our entire universe put on his body. It was just really beginning to take on a true picture when the Tat artist doing the work died in a Motorcycle accident. The expense came in when it came to finding another artist that was as good or better than the first one that would be affordable. I think he finally got it completed last winter. It was a work of art that took over 3.5 years of actual needle time to complete and it covers his back, front and both sides of his body at a cost of almost $10,000.00. I got to see it one day when i ran into him at a Walmart and he showed it to me in the parking lot. It was impressive to say the least and looked very much like the pictures he printed off of his computer of our entire Universe. It is a complete body wrap with planets, stars, moons, milky way and even a few comets with tails. He's happy so I am happy for him but I could think of a lot of really good things 10 grand would have bought other than body art........................jmho
Good lord- I truly terrified to think where the planet Uranus was inked on his body!

Best quotes below: ...what a bunch of sissies!!! I wonder if they known that 10% of TN has a carry permit! “Why should we have to go through this pain just because someone’s got a right to carry a gun around,†Twiggs said. “It’s traumatic for the whole culture.†Oh the pain! Culture of violence Eileen Nober, a Lenoir City resident and vice-chair of the Loudon County Democratic Party, was one of the dozen or so who attended Saturday’s cookout. Nober, who originally hails from New York city, said changing the firearms culture in this country is an incredibly important issue. A dem operative in the mix - what a surprise I wont hold my breath waiting for them to protest against their local cable or TV providers for flooding their homes with images of gun violence

Love krogers response "Our long-standing policy on this issue is to follow state and local laws and to ask customers to be respectful of others while shopping," Kroger said in a statement. "We know that our customers are passionate on both sides of this issue, and we trust them to be responsible in our stores."
