  1. Pop into fayettville and see a movie at the lincoln theater on the square. Its an old time 1950s vibe with balcony seating above the main level. Not sure what restaurants are around there anymore
  2. Gareth is a bit of a racist, no? Telling bob he tastes better than he thought! Methinks gareth only likes white meat
  3. What is this thing called the Tennesean? [emoji14]
  4. So what length bbl and brand/length buffer tube is needed to hit the magic 26"?
  5. The larue is higher proof than stagg this year?
  6. Is william larue weller still being produced? That is some amazing stuff
  7. Saw it at an imax. Battle scenes are realistic and impressive. Story and characters were mildly annoying to me since hollywood demands that there americans be anti-heroes. That said its an amazing piece of work with respect to the tank battles
  8. Cleo is your county sherriff
  9. Freezer burn is generally a result of freeze/thaw because of frost free features which essentially are defrosters to melt ice but in the process Raise temps
  10. I just dug an 8 foot deep basement in wilson county and didnt hit a single stone! Its a miracle I did have fun using the giant dirt pile as a backstop for some testfiring!
  11. Sounds like you are taking groucho's advice http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=xHash5takWU
  12. People are idiots My retail experience yesterday was to get a new pair of jeans at TSC because my old tsc jeans belt loops had come apart. I picked up the same pair and noticed that it had a guarantee that said if there was ever a problem with workmanship you can bring it back to tsc for a replacement. So i asked the cashier to do this - she knew nothing, got the mgr, who clearly had never handled this warranty issue before and told me i needed a receipt and he could exchange them. I said who keeps a receipt for a $20 pair of jeans, and the guaranteee says nothing about needing a receipt. I was wearing the pants with the bad belt loops and said these should be evidence enough. He did not agree - good grief
  13. If you really want to pick nits, did you notice that the AK47 that rick captured from the Termian had an AK74 butt stock on it?
  14. Glad to know i am not the only one
  15. For those who watched the talking dead, The nazi references were creepy - the whole terminus notion about the industrialization of evil, and auto killing the weak, dropping gas in from above.....all added to the creep factor
  16. That.Was.AWESOME! Totally delivered
  17. Willis - would love to check out your tavor trigger - maybe we can arrange that when I meet you to pick up the godfather?
  18. The problem is there are too many gunshows - if there were fewer it would be something to look forward to attending. Same crap every weekend just in different venues is pointless. I truly marvel at the ability of some of those vendors to turn a profit
  19. Indeed! I did snag a stihl blower at my local pawn shop for $100. Wouldn't start at the shop ao i took a chance and put in a new plug, hosed out the carb with cleaner and put in fresh gas. Started right up [emoji41]
  20. Start buying more expensive guns Problem solved! [emoji48]
  21. They're illegal?
  22. Short summary: The TN legislature has passed laws in the past which would have regulated and/or placed limits on certain abortion procedures. Court cases were filed, and the TN supreme court wiped the laws out due to State unconstitutionality. The dissenting judge remarked as follows: "Plainly stated, the effect of the court's holding today is to remove from the people all power, except by constitutional amendment, to enact reasonable regulations of abortion," This served as inspiration to pro-life groups to put a Constitutional Amendment on this years general election. The amendment does nothing on its own other than open the door for legislation to pass TN constitutioal muster. Of course, and law would still be subject to the Roe decision since the 14th amendment incorporated the 1st amendment to the states, and that is the amendment in which the Scotus found the right to abortion under the penumbra of privacy. One can reasonably expect to find a relaunch of the 2000 laws which were struck down, which include a mandated 3 day waiting period, and counseling, a prohibition of partial birth abortions, and probably also some new wrinkles that we have seen in some other states such as requiring abortion clinics to meet the same standards as ambulatory surgical centers and for abortion clinics physicians to have hospital admitting privileges. There is no way a complete ban law would pass and even if it did, it would not hold up as it would be contrary to Roe in spite of the hype by the Pro Choice groups. Again - no matter the law potentially passed, you can guarantee court cases will be filed. http://www.dnj.com/story/news/2014/10/04/amendment-responds-state-supreme-court-ruling/16733781/
  23. Depends if there is snow/ice on the road [emoji33] I used to live in a cute little craftsman era home in brainerd. Loved chattanooga - and its gotten even better. Ooltewah is nice - as others have said, close to the mall area and maybe 30 min from downtown
  24. They are colors beside black? [emoji48]
