Cracked open a bottle of John Bowman single barrel tonight - 100 proof and excellent neat right out of the bottle. I have had the Abraham Bowman and was concerned that his little brother wouldn't hold up the legacy - i was please that it did! Smooth wheated bourbon with a fruity sugary butterscotch overtone and very mild heat - mostly a warm glow. Must have a very low rye content. Highly recommend

Dayum! This my friends is why you use a holster! -
It looks like you have some cases which are not extracting at all, some which extracted but failed to eject, and some rounds which successfully did both but the follow up round did not feed properly. This could be a function of a delayed or poor ejection which interfered with the feed. An AK is a simple tool. I would investigate the following - hopefully waffenworks will stand behind their product. Ensure no cosmoline or binding in return spring Replace extractor Is the rifle gassed properly? Did the gas port get drilled correctly? Weak gas could be a cause of poor operation. Are the rails set at the correct height? When you rack the bolt carrier is there any friction or binding?

Sig Brace ILLEGAL to shoulder
Hershmeister replied to mcordell's topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
Of course sig would be on board - to stand otherwise would open them up to bigtime liability in consumer lawsuits. Sad to see this happen. -
Pappy is very very good. If you can buy at retail then I highly recommend buying it - whether the 10, 12, 15 or 20. That said i have been enjoying a bottle of 2013 Old Forresters Birthday Bourbon which has been most excellent!

Most likely Mag is not seating properly. Some material would need to be removed from mag catch area if this is the case. Please confirm if you are getting full lock up when the mag is inserted

Amazing how many news stories are leaving out the nature/origin of the threat... Cue up the Commercial Appeal story of "local muslims fearing a backlash...." http://www.myfoxmemphis.com/story/27688684/fbi-bulletin-warns-of-possible-isis-terror-plot-in-memphis The Federal Bureau of Investigation's Memphis Division is warning police officers about a threat to blow up the Memphis-Arkansas Bridge sometime in December. FOX13 News obtained the FBI bulletin sent to Mid-South Law Enforcement agencies warning about a possible Islamic State terror plot targeting the I-55 Bridge. "According to an anonymous complainant, as of December 2014, ISIS instructed an ISIS member, a presumed USPER in Memphis, with a direct order to blow up the Memphis-Arkansas bridge on an unknown date, activating ISIS terror cells in the United States," the warning reads. USPER is a law enforcement acronym for U.S. person. >>Read More Trending Stories The Memphis Division's FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force is investigating the threat. "Although we received an anonymous threat, there is no actionable intelligence regarding an attack on the bridge. We take every threat seriously and whenever we receive a threat like this we take steps to inform all of our law enforcement partners," Supervisory Special Agent Joel Siskovic, spokesman for the FBI Memphis Division, told FOX13 News. Homeland Security Officials have been warning about ISIS inspired attacks in the U.S. since this fall. A Memphis Police spokesperson told FOX13 the department is aware of the threat and officers are patrolling the area around the bridge looking for suspicious activity. Surveillance cameras linked the MPD's Real Time Crime Center are focused on the bridge 24 hours a day. The Memphis-Arkansas Bridge is a major interstate thoroughfare connecting Tennessee and Arkansas. Nearly 56,000 cars and trucks cross the bridge daily according to Tennessee Department of Transportation statistics. And it's not just road traffic. In addition, barge traffic traveling under the bridge on the Mississippi River pumps billions of dollars into the U.S. economy according to trade groups. The FBI is asking everyone in the region to remain vigilant. If you see something suspicious they say to report it to police.

All true - still - Owning beats renting in most cases since you get to write off the interest and property taxes, thus lowering your effective cost. And most importantly, you use leverage to buy the home, which, even if the home does not appreciate one dollar still results in your mortgage being your "rent" less the discounts i just mentioned. So you are able to "lock in" your rent at a fixed price which never will increase (assuming fixed rate loan). Given inflation and a moderate increase in housing valuation, odds are you get to live in your home for the "cost" of your interest and property taxes plus improvements/repairs. And if you rent you pay all those things plus the amortized value of the asset plus profit to the landlord, and your rent ia generally only locked in for a year at a time.
