You missed the point; they werent SEALS, just like most "..used to be an Army/Marine sniper..." guys that come in were really truck drivers and clerks.

I would imagine the only business where more BS is thrown out than a gun shop is a dive shop. When I was getting PADI OW certified a million years ago, I had 2 "former Navy SEALS" that barely passed.... Of course, their excuse was they were so used to closed curcuit rigs, and that they missed their Dragers...

While my main HD/Tactical shotgun is a pump (FN Tactical Police Shotgun) I am liking autoloaders more and more. I understand the argument and logic of the "rack-rack" to scare the bad guys...but I think that Hollywood is partly to blame for this. If I am defending my life, property, or loved ones, I would prefer to reduce the threat via (if needed) lethal force, rather than let the bad guys know where I am at with the racking of the slide. (I suggest keeping your shotgun locked and loaded in the same manner/condition that you keep your primary HD handgun) I have a Franchi Law12, and im getting ready to pick up a M1 Super90 when the right deal comes along. Once the M1S90 comes in (in SBS configuration) it will become my primary HD shotty.

Rabbi will recommend that you need to make sure you get something with a ported barrel....he LOVES those!!!!!!

Ok, not really. I may have gotten a few facts wrong in my original posts. The person isnt really famous He didnt pay 3k for the Duck gun I didnt charge him any fees And he most certainly doesnt drive a Lamborghini Here's the story: A guy came in our shop yesterday, wanting to sell the .410 duck gun and a really nice Romainian .22LR training rifle. He wanted a very fair price for the lot, but I wasnt really all that interested in them. About this time, Wes (fury2neon) walks in the shop (as he does about 3-4 times a week) and I introduce him to the gentleman selling the guns in question. In the end; Wes was able to pick both guns up for a song, and the seller (also a good customer of ours) left with the money he was looking for. Everyone wins! Moral of the story? Dealers dont always have to make money or sell a gun to make their customers happy

We had a really famous customer in the shop today that had transfered in a custom, one off, pocket gun. This customer spent around 3000.00 having this gun custom built, and will shoot 3' groups at 3 meters.

you are measuring wrong. measure from the face of the closed bolt to the end of the barrel. You have a DPMS AP4 which is the DPMS version of a M4 carbine copy
