Im well aware of the firearms timeline. I figured someone would over analize my post, but made more sense the way I posted, rather than "...welcome to the 19th and 20th centuries..."

I was up in Cookville yesterday for some meetings and got an opportunity to stop into Tenn-Tac Tenn-Tac 921D S. Willow Ave. Cookeville, TN 38501 931-646-7182 www.tenntac.com Tenn-Tac is located in a new(er) small strip mall off of Willow Street. The location offers plenty of parking, and is easy to find. Upon entering the shop, I was greeted by the owner John O' Neil. John is a former Marine and LEO and seems to be a very honest guy and of high moral fiber. His shop is clean, new, and has very good lighting. I would estimate his total space to be about 1000sqft. It looks like he caters to the carry crowd, off duty LEO, and home defense market. Lines include Glock, Smith and Wesson, Surefire, Streamlight, LaserMax, Emerson Knives, and Sabre spray products. Glock- I saw one example of almost every model offered from Glock, with very fair pricing on all models. The standard models (17,19,23, etc) were priced at $510.00 John mentioned that he mostly sells Glocks. Smith and Wesson-Taurus I saw mostly J-Frames (642, 85) being offered and this sort of ties in with the market he is going for. Others- John doesnt carry a very large inventory of firearms, but he said he will special order anything a customer requests. He had a few (3-4) 1911s that seemed a tad high, a Springfield XD, and a few other misc. handguns. He also had a rack of 4-5 defensive shotguns. There was a single rack of 5.11 gear that featured Khaki short sleeve shirts and vests. Overall I was very impressed with the professional manner in which the shop is run, the clean and neat merchandizing, and Johns positive attitude. If you are in the local Cookville area, stop by and check him out. John seems like the kind of guy that will really work hard to earn your local business. Also, make sure you tell him Joe from Hero-Gear sent you! (I think he was a bit weirded out by another dealer being in his shop, and asking about his market)

We normally have several models in stock, and I would think that most shops would carry Harris since they really are the gold standard. If you cant find one locally, let me know.
