  1. You dont need ANY photos or print cards. Also, personal checks will slow your NFA trust paperwork up. Try to send a company check or certified funds to speed things up.
  2. Pics or ban. Tell your dad that if he will sell me one at his cost, I will hook you up at dealer/distributor cost for the next 10 years
  3. Thats a great idea Eddie.....someone should CAD for R&D....
  4. Link to the group buy thread: http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/showthread.php?p=118809#post118809
  5. Got ya covered Glen. These are for the CMMG lowers, and will not be available with any custom markings. You are number 1 (customer wise) on the list for the Hero-Gear lowers.
  6. That is correct. Make sure the barrel is 16" or greater in length, and make sure the stock assembly is removed prior to reinstalling the pistol upper. You bet. Keep in mind you pay ANOTHER 200.00 and be required to complete the entire Form 4 process again.
  7. Because the item is already on a Form 3 with the dealer, and a Form 4 is required to transfer from the dealer to the individual.
  8. You have just encountered one (of many) confusing interpretations of NFA. When I read NFA, my understanding is that if you are registering an existing firearm that already has manufacturer info on it, there is no need to put Joe Blow, Winchester TN. Now, you call NFA branch on any given day and ask that question to 10 people, 5 may tell you that you dont have to engrave your personal info. The other 5 will tell you that you DO have to engrave. Wait 3 days and call back with the same question; different answers... While I personally feel that the law does not require your info to be engraved, we recommend it. (actually, we recommend new receivers on Form 4s, but thats a different story)
  9. Valid point. We will start a new thread in the Vendor Special Order section of the classifieds later tonight.
  10. Technically and legally are two different things. Look guys, only two ways to have a firearm built on an AR receiver with a barrel shorter than 16": 1. Buy an AR receiver eligible to be classified as a pistol. This means that that receiver could NEVER had been configured as a rifle, or had a stock installed. 2. Register an AR receiver with the ATF as a Short Barrel Rifle by completing a Form 1 or Form 4
  11. I like: NDS-601 "Retro" lower receiver
  12. Copy and paste the list and add yourself Kris Added: Legal issues- If you are now a resident of KY, you will need to initiate and submit your Form 4 from a NFA dealer in your state of residence, meaning you can source the receiver from us but it will need to transfer to a NFA dealer in KY.
  13. Lets get a head count of who is down with the CMMG SBR lower buy: 1. David 2. Eddie 3. 4. 5.
  14. Nice start. I would get rid of the ergo grip and put a period correct one on. I would also get the correct A1 stock for it if you are going to run an A1 upper receiver. I was going to post pictures of my 1968 Colt SP1, but Dan just informed me that its not a "project" since Colt did all the work, not me
  15. I had a buddy try to sell me a matched set of HK SP89s for 1500 bucks back in '99 but I was in the middle of a nasty divorce and was broke as hell
  16. Really?! I thought we were the only one!!! ;) We always suggest that people shop around for all goods and services prior to making any important decisions such as firearm and/or NFA purchases. In fact, I think this would be a great thread to post the contact info for any and all NFA dealers in TN so members know what their options are.
  17. No you dont. The pay sucks!
  18. We are actually looking at changing to the following schedule: Sunday- Closed Monday- Closed Tuesday- 9am to 6pm Wednesday- 9am to 6pm Thursday- 9am to 9pm Friday- 9am to 6pm Saturday- 9am to 4pm
  19. damn! I didnt get the memo!!! Working 6 days a week SUCKS!
  20. Paragraphs. They rock!
  21. Have you seen Dan R. lately?
  22. I will assume thats a NO for you.
  23. Nothing is funnier than a bunch of internet geeks preaching how the Army needs gas piston guns because the M16/M4 family of rifles are failing right and left in the sandbox. So, in defense of the trusty M4.... [ame] [/ame]
  24. Wow, we happen to have 4 of those in stock! Sorry I missed you the other day, hope your are enjoying your P6!
