  1. Still have it.....
  2. Congrats. Good looking scooter!
  3. As previously mentioned, you need to be sponsored (ie: hired, working, offered a job) by a dept. to attend Donelson. Cleveland State Community College runs a good academy as well. It's not "THE" academy according to all the Donelson grads....but you know how that goes... http://www.clevelandstatecc.edu/academics/divisions/business_technology/law_enforcement_training/bpindex.htm Last time I checked, the Cleveland class seat priority went to: LEOs currently working at their Dept. New hires sponsored by their Dept. Criminal Justice degree students All others.
  4. One of the things we will offer is engraving of service dates and or operations for an additional fee. I think it will be cool to have all of the operations and conflicts a servicemember served in on his/her mug
  5. Hero-Gear LLC is the distributor of The Battle Mug, but is a separate venture. These are also made in the good ole U.S. of A
  6. I will find the pictures, but we have added full kit to several. Eotech, Surefire, etc. You never know when you may need your trusty Battle Mug... *we are also working on 1913 rail mounted accessories like: beer bottle opener, "beer goggles" and the "Double Tap" rail mounted shot glass for those days when its really bad!
  7. Pricing is estimated at 299.00 each Keep in mind, these are CNC'd from billet stock, and each will be serialized. Not for the faint a heart (or checkbook) they were not conceived as nor will they be marketed as inexpensive or ordinary.
  8. We are meeting with our CNC guy in the next week. Prototypes are complete, so its just a matter of me stroking a really big check to get the first run going. ETA is 45-60 days if I had to guess. For those not up to speed, we are getting ready to launch The Battle Mug. Each mug starts as a 13lb. block of solid aluminum billet. The billet is then CNC machined into what you see here, complete with mil-spec 1913 picatinny rails on 3 sides. Once complete, they are shipped off to have USDA food grade anodizing applied. Each mug will have a unique serial number, which will be stamped on the bottom of the mug.
  9. We spent the 4th of July out at Tims Ford Lake doing a bit of drinking, socializing, and solving the World's problems with some friends and family. The City of Winchester always puts on a great fireworks display over the water, and by 6pm, the entire bay is filled with boats. These pictures were taken pretty early in the day, as most of us were way to drunk to remember to take pictures by about 4pm The Crew Some ugly guy named Eddie Another ugly guy named Rod
  10. Hey man. Sorry I didnt respond yesterday. I was traveling visiting clients yesterday, and am busy trying to get a ton (ie: 150k +) of orders invoiced and inbound before I leave this Friday for 2 weeks. I am trying to get time to pull your info together, but may ask Dan to pick this up. It seems like I have 3 days to get 12 days worth of work done! (story of my life these days... )
  11. If you are denied, you will receive your 200.00 back. I will also tell you that if it looks like you are going to be denied, the agent will most likely advise you to "withdraw your application" rather than wait on a final decision from the ATF. The reason behind this is to protect the applicant. One of the questions on application for a FFL is, "...have you ever been denied a FFL in the past..." If you know you are going to be denied, withdraw! That way you are good to go should you wish to apply again in the future.
  12. You should apply for a Type 07 FFL. This is a manufacturers license, and will allow you to build, repair, and sell firearms. You will need to make sure you are zoned for this at your home address, but you have a very good shot at getting approved.
  13. Looks like you will have a very solid rifle when complete. (with all that high zoot gear, I dont want to hear you bitching about not having any gun money anymore ) Added: Are you going with the MRP upper like mine? or one of their standard uppers?

  21. How do you guys feel about a nice ride around Lynchburg to Monteagle, dropping down into Alabama, coming back around and up Monteagle through Sewanee, and ending up at Viola Range? We could plan it for late summer, or early fall.

  23. Very good looking bike. With all the bikes on this board, we need to schedule a bike rally + TGO shoot!
  24. When ordering a Serbu, you specify SBS or AOW. They then complete the appropriate Form 3 to transfer it to your NFA dealer in the configuration you requested. Now, if you order an AOW, complete the Form 4 and pay the 5.00 stamp but then wish to put a stock on your AOW, you can initiate another Form 4 (paying 200.00) and register it as a SBS. *make sure you dont install your stock until the Form 4 is returned approved.
  25. No, that is 100% incorrect. If it meets the requirements to be registered as an AOW, then the stamp with be $5.00
