Magpul finally has part numbers for these (MAG245 for the Front, MAG246 for the rear) but no set pricing for another week or so. We have 36 sets of these on order, so we should get some of the first sights that actually ship.

Congrats. What school did you go to? There are just a few that are known as "THE" resident program to graduate from. What does the exam to become a master gunsmith look like? I know that my gunsmith moved to Colorado to attend CO School of Trades 14 month hands on course. He is now a "basic" gunsmith and is YEARS away from being considered an actual master gunsmith. Not to crap on your accomplishment, but I think you need to be aware that being excited out taking an exam to make "master" in the same thread where you are announcing your graduation from a yet unnamed basic school is lofty and a bit ambitious at best.

The one pictured is a 2 piece set, just like the original A1 handguards. On a free float system, there are several methods to make this work, and thats one of the things we are trying to perfect

My custom stock guy is leaving for South Dakota tomorrow with some sketches, drawings, and plastic furniture and will be spending time with a couple pretty big names in the wood industry. If we can get some things engineered, we will be producing these 158 at a time. (thats how many I have to commit to to make this happen)

Im sitting on the sidelines on this one, as I have discussed my opinions and personal experience with PMCs in the past, but I am curious; Jackdog- whats YOUR experience regarding armed combat in general, and Blackwater and/or DoD contracted PMCs specifically? We've got us a bunch of $@#)$& experts here....lol

Just took these... Its not finished yet. We still have bumper trim to install, and some big Bushwacker fender flares.

FYI We received another 10 ARs yesterday....

It was all done in-house. I conceived the concept and design, and my machinist hand turned two prototypes. We did send it off for CAD, but other than that, its all HG.
